Definitely in my top 5 most strong countries in Eurovision! Dana International really raised the bar in 1998, which opened the doors to the LGBTQ community, and especially Trans people to feel included and accepted in mainstream culture. What an amazing accomplishment for a tiny country like Israel. Well done!

Loved your knowledge and your love for these songs. you are right saying Israel sends good vocalists I hope we continue to do so. The energy we have will continue, cause eurovision should be fun.

I share many of what you said.
The only thing:
1974 is considered by many to be Israel finest entry
mainly because of it's politically charged lyrics
("maybe there is enough air for one or two courtiers.." est
strong lyrics, which fitted the time.

Ilanit was the presenter of Israel during the voting part this year as an honor to celebrate the 50 years, she also mentioned it while giving the points.
