This is fantastic. At last someone who isn’t scared to show a proper mess. Fed up of people tidying an already tidy house!
☀️ Ｓｕｎｎｙ Ｄａｙｓ ☀️ Thats part of the fun! The house is messy all year, until I know I have company. Then I'm suddenly motivated to clean, which takes two weeks...if I actually CLEANED all two weeks. I plan to clean, then tell myself "I work best under pressure". So I spent five hours running around yelling, the dog and husband run for cover, and get what should be two weeks of easy cleaning into five hours of ...hello! When company finally arrives, I calm down, and make statements like, "excuse the mess", even though it's clean. But, see, even though it looks spotless, my brain knows how much I swept under the carpet and shoved into closets.

Seriously thank you so much for not being one of those Mommy Bloggers that doesn't show us what it's really like. You're not always put together, you have bad days, and your house isn't always perfect. It really truly helps me feel better (and more normal?) about the fact that I can't always get on top of the mess. Thank you for reminding people that family life and parenthood doesn't always look like "the movies"!!

I've seen a video of yours randomly on occasion in the past year. I came across this one and I have to tell you, I love you. Thank you so much for posting real life. I can't tell you how many times in the past I used to feel like a failure because I could never get ahead of the disasters in my house that I can affectionately call "laundry," "dishes," & "housework." Jesus, sometimes it's all too much between momming, working, sleeping, trying to take care of yourself, and just life. Thank you for being so transparent and normal. This is what my house looked like after everyone had gone home for the holidays. But I would set my timer for 10-15 mins and tackle something. It didn't take long and now it is managed chaos! Lol

Burton Family NY kid's and I also started the new year like this, sick but we are also all better and as I told my daughter, we are ready to start working on finishing up cleaning the house.. she wasn't too happy about that... Funny how she has no complaint with making messes lol I am working on learning new ways to make my 4 almost 5 year old daughter get excited about cleaning and organizing like I get.. hoping I can get her into it with the tricks and tools I've come acrossed. So glad to see I'm normal with being overwhelmed with a messy home. Life was so easy keeping a clean home until my daughter started walking. She's 2 now and its so hard. I always think, "since when did I do all of this shopping???!" im just glad my home isnt as big as yours because nothing would get done. I love how your whole family pitches in to help clean which means less work for you.

I love the idea of the laundry baskets to get organized and move stuff around. One thing that I do (but I only have one kid) is that 5 or 10 minutes before bedtime he needs to pick up stuff from his bedroom floor and try to put them where they belong. I said "try" because sometimes doesn't work very well and everything ends up in his toy basket LOL, but he is learning little by little and now I can get to the other side of his room without fear of breaking an ankle. PS; I Love your videos :)

OMG you are just adorbs! When you did that quickie through the mess before you went to work out and cut back to your face and sobbed HAHA that is just so me. Im new here and loving your content and how you set things up. I'm 68 years old and I've been trying to tackle my closet. Which I'll use as my pantry. Because of two spine surgeries 20 years ago maybe one year apart I struggle I've been on disability for a long time and I love watching you take your time bite size piece of time it has helped me this week thank you and God bless you and your beautiful family 🙏❤️

I cannot tell you how helpful this video was for me, such a stress reliever just watching your process. I've also started a few days ago tackling my home (I live alone in a one room apartment) and I have not even half the challenges that you have surrounding you, kids and all that. It got me super inspired, so thank you thank you thank you! It's comforting knowing you're not alone in your messy life. Thank you for showing more than just your "highlight reel". Just one bite, 10 minutes a day can get you a long way and might even spark momentum and get you doing more than you expected in the first place, therefor feeling so much better. I had the roughest day today & I know I was my own worst enemy! I spent so much of the day in tears (hiding in the pantry or the laundry room) just having a rough time with my inner self. I felt overwhelmed and not good enough on so many levels. I knew I was just going through the motions & things would be fine. But my bday is tomorrow & I just wanted to clean house, so it would be nice tomorrow. (Kind of silly, I know). I was only able to straighten up my family room and kitchen & do the dishes. Having a couple sick kids (well just kids in general) made it hard to do more. But after watching this video, I feel so much better! I felt like you were talking to just me. There was so much advice I needed today, to soak in. So thank you! (Love love love your J.O.B idea!)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has a messy house with a bunch of kids. I have my grandkids at my house 5 days of the week along with the 3 kids I have at home. It seems like the cleaning is never ending, I do lime the laundry basket idea of putting everything in a laundry basket and sorting through later.

I'm sitting here overwhelmed about everything and cried over my meal plan yesterday because I realized I totally messed it up. I grew up in a gross house and I'm trying to rewire my brain to stop all of the bad habits but since I didn't really have a ton of time to do that before having 2 kids in 2 years (youngest is now 8 months and oldest turned 2 at the end of September), I'm slowly dying. My husband hates the house being a mess, but with virtually no help because he's always working and i get angry and lash out at the kids even though I know they don't know better and I really need a miracle over here 😭

When I first saw you in this I was so impressed that you could just be so transparent. I love that you are "REAL" and normal and that you are strong enough in character to be open and honest. It's not just married people who have "messes". ..Single people have them too..me being one of them. I'm one of "those" people who watch tons of videos about how to do things like get organized, cook, save money and budget and never seem to do them. Wow great job momma 👍you've given me some motivation today and realize that we are not perfect all the time, but if we can take things one day at a time and little sections at a time we can get it done.
Just wanted to say what a difference your cleaning, tidying and organisation tips have made to my life. I live on my own and have multiple chronic illnesses, which means that tidying 1 room in my house would take 2 weeks to do, and it would be messy again within 2 seconds 🙄 with your tips though, it now only takes me a couple days to clean a room and I’m able to keep it clean (which there was no way I could before) so thank you for putting your ideas out there. They’ve really helped me x
