Laying clothes out the night before is a game changer. My mom taught me this and I’ve been doing it ever since!! Whenever I stop, I always feel out of routine and not the same in the AMs. Decision fatigue is real, especially for me because I’m not a morning person😅
This came at the right time for me. I’ve been feeling a bit meh and I think it’s because I have put any effort into my everyday looks. It’s hard when you’re a stay at home mom and rarely see someone outside family but it really does make a difference.
Patterns are actually very important for some people where others will thrive with solids. If you're a patterns girl and it works for you, rock it.
Then make your own video, geez.

Hey Jordan!! Mum of 3 here, I personnally really need to get dressed, brush hair-teeth and put my face cream on. You encouraged me to do that fist thing in the morning and it does change my energy for the rest of the day. I feel that even the kids react differently when i rarely stay in my pyjamas! Chosing clothes the day before, and the night time shower are a game changer indeed. Thank you for taking the time to shoot that "weird" video to you, I will definitly try your jewelry trick!!
I love the video! Thanks for doing it! My trick for work was when I was in the office, we had to wear a collared shirt, dress shirt, etc. I hated trying to figure out what to wear, so I ended up buying several different colors of polo shirts. I ended up with about a dozen different colors. So easy to just grab one and go. It met our dress code of business casual, and I was comfortable. I also have 7-8 different sweaters for the winter to switch it up.
I always have my hair in a ponytail, so super simple in the morning!
This was great. So many videos like this can be vague and not actually helpful. I love that you detailed multiple steps and connected them throughout the different situations you’d apply them and why they work.

This is so great! I have been waiting for video about this! As a work from home mom, I struggle with feeling frumpy if I wear leggings and sweatshirts all day, so getting ready in the morning really does make a huge difference!

I live in Florida so we end up showering at least 1-2x per day! But...what people don't realize is that even if you have to shower in the morning and get moving QUICK, you can still shower, get in clothes and have a little makeup on in about 20-30 minutes, or at least I can. Glad your channel is back!!!

I go to the gym in the AM so to me I already did the hard work and took a shower 😂 but I do feel the difference when I look more peresentable dropping my kids off at school. Great tips!!

One of my biggest tricks is to develop a quick, daytime make up look. Mine takes 5-10 minutes max and uses only a few items.

I love the laying out the clothes idea, I used to do this in high school and college and my roommates would tease me 😂 less decision making is so helpful!
Would love to see an updated quick makeup routine! Also, I'm not a mum, but totally agree with the 'avoid trendy clothes' tip. Honestly if I look at the celebs style I like the most (Jennifer Aniston, Carmen Electra, Audrina Partridge) they are rarely wearing bold outfits it's usually basics, like a flattering pair of jeans, a plain black t-shirt & a pair of heels, for example. It's usually very simple but with an extra 5 mins on the hair & makeup. Even if I lounge around the house I've learned wearing all black/monotone 'tracksuits' still look smarter & I never skip makeup. The trick is to get a routine down you can do in 5/10 minutes. Makes you feel your best & u could literally wear a trashbag but look decent if you have some nice makeup on.

I actually really liked this video! :) I started getting dressed when I wake up and it's really changed things also. Even if it's "transition clothes" before my real outfit for the day, it makes such a difference.

I'm with you on the hair style tips! I was never any good at the whole hair styling thing. I rough dry, then smooth out my hair and give it volume with a blow-dry brush. I have worn the same short bob haircut for so long, I doubt friends would recognise me in anything else. Pick one thing (or a very narrow range of easy things) and stick to it!

I wear what's comfortable. At home, it's usually sweatshirts and pj bottoms. When I go out in public though, I will make myself a bit more proper, and I always keep it simple. And yes, ALWAYS lay out your clothes the night before, especially if you have to get up early in the morning. Always wash your face before bed, whether you wear makeup or not.
Thanks for this video! I’ve been a personal trainer for over 15 years.. I start work at 5 am and end at 3, mon thru Friday.. my struggle is trying to maintain my “reg” clothes, and not live in my gym/ trainer gear all the time! Haha I’ve tried your lashes, they are just great! And help make you look put together without using mascara.. thanks so much for your helpful tips!…👍🙏🤗❤️

My go to quick hair fix is hairpieces. I have a ponytail, a messy bun and a couple of clip in pieces. Hair takes me less than a minute.

Love that you’re back on UA-cam :) I have been hopeful you would mention the glue you use for the lashes. I believe you use flutterhabit lashes and I know you aren’t using their glue. I know she’s uses lashify glue but they have multiple bonds and I’m not sure which she uses. I want to know too!
I wear my hair in one braid down my back. I will braid it in the morning, keep it the entire day and sleep in it. It also keeps my hair really clean so I only have to wash it every week and a half to two weeks. There was a learning curve to getting the braid straight, but it works for me.

Great video thank you! My top mum tip is eyebrow eyeliner tatoos. The best time and energy saver. I had it done before pregnancy and this helped me survive the birth, newborn to1year hectic period with near zero time for self care.

I loved your tips. I can't bring myself to pick out clothes the night before. I go off of am I hot before leaving the house, then I do a short sleeve and a seeater/zip up. Do I feel like wearing jeans or not. Am I seeing people then I might not wear the leggings. So it's really how I feel, and especially color. I love pink so most days it's a pink shirt of some kind. I love the idea of taking the makeup. I could try that.
