The first note the Sheppard of blues hits grabs ur soul. I fell in love with music 17 years ago, angus young had the most feel on his playing to a 13 year old me. So glad I discovered Kenny!! Keeping real music alive, keep trucking brother. See u at rivers
To Everyone, who keeps comparing these amazing players to the past, They are referencing not stealing!! The irony i find, is if they didnt reference the past everyone would say they had lost there root's, if they do they are a mimic.
So lets Enjoy what is some amazing blues presented above without the Jimi or Stevie did it better shit, we know, they were awesome but they are also dead, and they need these kind of guys to keep the blues & Legacys alive !!!
Music never stops!!
True
Well said
Some say he sounds too much like SRV. How can that be anything but a compliment
@@BlindMellowJellyInc wow, i was so into your comment until the end. relax my good man, it's the internet.
Something deep inside his heart , his soul and his blood , Kenny's love and passion for his late great mentor would never die !
Спасибо Братья❤ Привет из Москвы🎉
He keeps getting better...
I agree, enjoy the moment, and the talent, appreciate but don't live in the past.
still did not believe that Kenny got the half of double trouble to be on his band, surreal!
Good Lord !!! how on Earth could I missed it ?!?!? Dear Friend, many many THANKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent as always!!💖
Does nothing but get better
encore et encore .... au-delà des mots! !!
What a lovely version of this great tune, beautifully videoed (is that a word?) by the amazing Natasha.
Kenny is awesome! SRV definitely had an influence.
Is there any serious guitarist who wasn't influenced by SRV? LOL You're right, though.
Always liked KWS music on Pandora, but just today looked him up on UA-cam. Dang! I've been missing out.
Damn. I love it.
Damn! KWS bout lit that guitar on fire!
That was awesome, love it
Can't get enough.
MUSIC CRUISES ARE THE BEST!!
WICKED AWESOME !!!!! 💥😁💯👏👍
sounds sooo good!
Love it !!!
Many thanks for the video :)
kenny 😊🤘🤘🤘you are awesome mate
This dude fucking got it... the tone soul is the best in generations
I swear Stevie payed Kenny a visit on this cruise.
fantastic
Hey! You! That one rocked :) Cheers
WOW! What a show. What a Mastery! I always get mesmerized watching Kenny playing, but this double good'ol stuff was a lot l delight. Thanks!
PS: don't know what but, unfortunately, it feels that something bad happened to the vocalist... 🫢🤭🤫... 😁
I wanna cruise.
Texas Flood for the entire solo on Shame... damn shame, I doubt most of you even know it.
After you watch this, go watch Stevie Ray Vaughan Texas Flood at the El Mocambo. Now that's pure guitar mastery!
First thing I said to myself when I first watched this a couple of days ago ,I'm watching KWS,but listening to SRV.
@@jerrydurnell6296 Yeah, it's a nice tip of the hat to SRV. I know KWS really thinks allot of Stevie and is about KTBA after all. That said, NOBODY can duplicate SRV's tone, intensity, or soul.
@@cmc2234 You're right about that, but he's about as close as any that have tried.
There is nothing SRV about this... SRVanahbee sure, but not like Stevie. Kenny brings the fire but no passion. It's just front pickup wanking on a Strat with some stage theatrics. Kenny has no restraint, he's just riffing through all the "tricks" of texas lead guitar. Anybody can do it, just look around youtube... 1000's of guys cranking it out as good or better... but still no Stevie level musicality. There will never be another SRV or musician with that perfect storm of passion, fire, technique and soul.
@@Nitromessiah I agree with your sentiment on Stevie. KWS is a talented guitarist, not gifted like SRV. He's working with with what he has and he loves Stevie so maybe cut him some slack!?
Auténtico sonido fender y bien tocado
nice..very nice..:)
KWSs father must have had a friendship with SRV surely If hee took him to a SRV concert hence the influence 🎸🎸🥁🎹
His father ran a club where SRV played
@@1AnitrasDance thanks for Your information .
If that guitar was a woman, no other man alive would ever do her any good.
I wanna know who the sound man is cuz ain't know acoustics on a boat
says the guy watching from a phone or computer or tablet. without getting a direct in, Natasha is the best in the business.
i was at the 2020 KTBA, the sound is fine there, loud as fuck in the middle of the ocean.
So much shame to go around.
