Warren brings out the best in musicians. My favorite Bonamassa, Shepperd, Grace Potter, etc. etc. are all when Uncle Warren is rolling out the carpet for them. He's amazing without help, but nobody makes room on a stage for a performer better than Warren Haynes.
Probably the sign of a remarkable musician that doesn't cramp up the song with flashy licks. He does such a great job of trying to actually make music happen on stage with some very competent band mates and guest performers.
I watch these things, and put my guitar back in the stand. I then proceed to the backyard and climb up the telephone pole behind our house and pretend that I'm a gargoyle... 🎸
I remember you in the back of my church. It's so crazy that I remember that now after listening to you and your brother playing. Do you remember or am I just crazzy??crazy??? I'm sure I am not. Rush City, MN.
Confident?SMILE! He's someone special!Kenny...darn he can play that quitar.I get so confused I swear the pope was on this device today.I am so tech stupid...please just bear with my comments at times.I love these musician's though. Thank you boy's ❤
I was listening to a radio interview the other day with Kenny. He was talking about this jam and he liked it so much, he recorded a version and invited Warren Haynes to play on it. It's not released yet, but the radio played the new studio version, which will be on the new KWS record coming out. Absolutely smoldering killer tune
Always have loved Warren. He has jammed with so many great guitar players. This is just one of them moments where their guitars talk to each other. Warren is a master to cajole guitar talks. KWS did not disappoint, Great video!
I've been digging Warren since two of my coworkers of mine turned me on to him, they both went to school with him in Ashville NC. and both said he was genuinely a nice person , that says ALOT to me. they are CORRECT!
This is SO awesome. 7 people don't know REAL talent when they hear it. Can't wait for KWS' new CD that will be out soon that will have Kenny and Warren doing a song together!
I saw title to this clip and stopped all surfing. Gov't Mule - Kenny Wayne Shepherd in the same house! Used to live in New Hampshire seen Kenny there at Hampton Beach. Outstanding!!!
Tony Braunagel currently plays for Robert Cray's band, so it was cool to also see Cray's long-time bassist, Richard Cousins, come out and join in on bass. It was also great to see Chris Layton and Matt Abts join in too. Great improv jam!
I needed to brag about this, I shared this video on my facebook page and Kenny Wayne Shepherd himself liked my post ON MY PROFILE!!!! This guy is my favorite fucking guitarist ever, that was like the coming of jesus to me!
i met him at a guitar center on northwestern highway in suburban detroit in 98. he was opening for aerosmith and i was going to see him and then leave b/c i hate aerosmith. anyway, i'm the last guy in line and we happily discussed santana, jimi and srv. he was very humble and we are about the same age and he was baked i think. he's not my fav guitarist but kws is really talented. great memory.

I saw Gov't Mule in Ithica NY a couple years ago. Fantastic concert. I was hoping to catch Kenny when he tours this year. Unfortunately he isn't coming anywhere near up. Come on Kenny, we want to see you up in the north east as well.
I saw a video with Warren and Joe Bonamassa and someone commented perfectly. I don't know word for word the comment, but it was Joe is perfect timing and Warren is perfect emotion. I agree with that feeling. I think Joe is a machine and Warren is not a machine and both are wonderful, but I prefer ................... I like this music and I will never hate anything that feels and sounds good.
Best Warren I've ever heard or seen, I have to wonder if there was so much pressure to play the parts perfectly when you are hired to be a guitar player in the Allman Bros......Here, he seems so free and not fenced in..... Bravo.
Two amazing musicians. Damn awesome.
I just put you in my Playlist, I'm glad I did. Hi Kenny 👋. The Vibe is great. JEWELS
Two guitar gods. I've watched this over and over. This rocks, Wow, talk about talent!!

Warren Haynes is a humble musician. Confidant in his ability and willing to share the stage. Good man!

That just blew my mind. The interaction of the band in whole "stoked" me out.Thank you gentleman! That was badas-❤
I agree. Every performer on that stage was tighter than a banjo head.
I agree. Every performer on that stage was tighter than a banjo head.

KWS is so under rated.
I understand great elite guitarists are seen as a commodity, but Kenny is really that good.
nowonderI4get his ten days out album/project is by far one of the greatest blues projects in the last twenty years.
Easy to get a strat lost in that, kws kills it, warren always crushes
