    Seriously one of the most underrated automotive detailing UA-camrs! I just stumbled upon your page today and fell in love with the e30 videos because they’re close to my heart being I’ve owned 2 in the past. Keep up the great work and hope to see this channel grow super fast! Loving what you’re doing and got a lifetime sub from me!

    The brush with the protectant/dressing is new to me. Looks like a great way to do it. I've always had issue with getting it too heavy in some areas while trying to get others covered.

    Need to always protect the alternator as it can short out it's diodes if wet inside. A plastic bag around it works pretty well. It's the one very vulnerable thing under the hood to water. Alternators haven't really changed over the years. Ideally those diodes would be potted and in modular pack but they never are, just soldered in there.

    Great video! I have a concern; how is that much water not damaging anything electrical under the hood? And for cars still under warranty, wouldn't that void any warranty? I am asking because I have to detail a friends engine but he has 2 years left on warranty. Thank you.

    Hello chromatic. Fans and subscriber from 🇲🇾. Your videography is phenomenal! 💯 I would like to know a few things, can i just spray the water onto the electrical wire shown in 1:06 like u do using just a garden hose and should i cover the alternator? Cause i see u didn’t use any cover to protect the alternator. Im new to this detailing world. Hope u can clarify. Thank you sir.

    • @ChromaticGarage
      @ChromaticGarage  3 роки тому +1

      Thank you friend! I think you should cover any electrical components that you are worried about, it only takes a few minutes and then you'll have absolutely nothing to worry about/regret. I would suggest covering the alternator as well! Hope this helps!

    Another great video mate! Was just wondering... what is your dilution ratios on the ik as I got the updated version but can never get it to fan out like that I see in yours and others video's.. I have used 1:5 a d 1:10 ratios. Never a wide fan like yours did.. I also tried changing the front nozzle, still no luck!

    Hey man, I hear such mixed things about washing engine bay...I have a 2019 Crosstrek...can I spray the engine bay? I thought it was only okay to do with a pressure washer. I currently only have a garden hose. So conflicted. I would love to wash it.

    Hi friend! I am a South Korean viewer. I have a question. I want to try cleaning the engine room! Looking at the engine, you can see the wires. Green line is seen in 7 minutes 2 seconds. Can I spray this place with a compressed sprayer? I'm scared I've never tried it 😱
