@@BeautifulGreen252 The ideal is beautiful, the reality is cruel, and every country has two sides. Although my country is prosperous and prosperous, the 8-hour workday has not been realized at all, the people are under great pressure, and the capitalists are exploiting everyone in different ways. The state acquiesced to this behavior for the sake of the economy, although we are a socialist country, some people sarcastically say that this is just a feudal comprador society. Although our country has various problems, we are the most united, and we have always believed that we can accomplish great things by concentrating our efforts. The road is tortuous, the future is bright, and the future must belong to the communist society!
"Combine harvesters and TORPEDOES." - Literally the most USSR thing I've ever heard. Also, this one kinda sounds like it was compose after 1991, as many of the things mention wasn't all that popular of a topic in the USSR itself. But, yes, the USSR together was great in many aspects, and you can't deny it.
well, it's like a reference to the warning for the West of the USSR times, which sounds like this. We are peaceful people (a combine harvester for harvesting grain that could be more peaceful), but our armored train is on a siding (torpedoes). This refers to the symbolism of these things.
Idk I think for me its the social aspect. Now more than ever we're feeling the effects of really intense loneliness (think lockdowns and covid 19) It seems looking at the soviet union, and even Russian people today they're much more social and willing to talk with one another (again, at least from what i've seen. I have no doubt that in some places its not like that) And although a lot of aspects of communism really were ass, I think its part of the reason the people are like that. And whatever way you look at it, that's pretty great
It strongly reminds me of an old Soviet jokes about the Damansky island incident, when a peaceful Soviet combine harvester was shot by the Chinese troops, so it had to retaliate, then it made a few artillery shots and flew back to Moscow, and the government warned that if Chinese ever attack again, next time they'll add a few tractors to that harvester
This song is a masterpiece. It’s the definition of the word patriotism. Pure patriotism in fact. Not insulting anyone else, simple showing pride of his country’s history. The fact that he mentioned both the Romanovs and Lenin & Stalin is incredible to me. No matter what ethnicity you are, you cannot hate this song. It’s a masterpiece
Are you joking? It’s a Russian Imperialist wet dream, need I say what the Romanovs and Stalin did to native inhabitants of the countries/territories they mention in the song? It’s Slavophilia and ethnic hatred

@@railroadman5285 That answers nothing. The son here is "Made in the USSR", not "Back in the USSR", they share neither lyrics nor music. I saw a video of it at that Trumpesque Putin rally the other day. As one of those kids that learned to get under our school desks. Wasn’t the guy singing it live? This first victory is not yet a final victory, and it was given to our October Revolution with unprecedented hardships and difficulties, with unheard-of torments, with a number of enormous failures and mistakes on our part. One backward people would have succeeded in defeating the imperialist wars of the most powerful and most advanced countries of the globe without failures and without mistakes! We are not afraid to admit our mistakes and will soberly look at them in order to learn how to correct them. But the fact remains: for the first time in hundreds and thousands of years, the promise to "respond" to the war between the slave owners with a slave revolution against all and every slave owner has been fulfilled to the end and is being fulfilled despite all difficulties. We started this business. When exactly, in what period, and the proletarians of which nation will bring this matter to an end is an immaterial question. It is essential that the ice is broken, that the path is open, the road is shown. Ленин В. И.

This refers to the symbolism of these things.
great in many aspects, but horrible in many other
@@CatChase957 As everyone should be. No single nation is perfect.

There are government crackdowns on religons that are unauthorized(and suspected of being affiliated with terrorist groups), and a problem with reactionary religious tendencies that have risen since the fall of the USSR.
