What they also should take into consideration is in addition to the labor pains, there is carrying a 6 to 10+ pound baby in your stomach and added weight (20 to 60 pounds) distributed throughout your whole body to support the pregnancy.
And they need to put one of those patches to the inner thighs because that machine doesn't give the burning tearing pain of a big ass head popping out down there lol
You’re right that part they left out. They should’ve wrapped a watermelon around his waste while doing this. We love Mario, but this isn’t a full effect😂
Mario was a fantastic sport to do this! Contractions and labor is no fun ! It hurts so much. Mario, thank you so much for doing this! I hope you understand your wife better and spoil her for Mother's day 💐💐❤️ ❤️❤️. So proud of you, Mario !!!!!!
He did much better than most men I’ve seen doing this. my theory is…it’s either the high amount of abdominal muscle or low body fat or mental fortitude he has from being in Hollywood & fitness since teenage years.
He was such a trooper. 😂 My husband was so empathetic when I was in labor with our son. He’s had some pretty painful experiences in his life. He’s a pretty tough guy even though he does not appear to be. I’m pretty sure he could handle one of those at a pretty high number. Because when he says something hurts… he probably should be in a hospital.
@@lindyt3942 He’s not the typical “tough guy” or athletic dude by any means. He’s got a higher pain tolerance than any man I’ve met though. If I could afford it, I’d test your theory. And I’d bet that he wouldn’t even flinch at the highest setting. ETA: he’s 6 ft tall and about 165 lbs soaking wet. Like I said, he’s not the typical “tough guy.”
Not for everybody, for most women yes , but not all. Same as the vaginal birth - for some women it's easy , for some it's hell. When I had my third baby I was in a room with a woman who had a c-section , and another who had vaginal birth same as me. We were pale , walked hard, and slow , but she that had c-section was great, walked around like nothing happened. When she told us that her c-section was only 2 days ago (she came to out room on the third day after she gave birth) we were just stunned . 🤷 I would not beleive it was possible if I havent seen it with my own eyes.
Labor actually wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. After 5 hrs my daughter hadn’t dropped into the birth canal, it turns out the umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck twice, preventing her from dropping. Thank God He gave me a great nurse & female Dr that helped me deliver. She is now 15 this year. 4 more years & she’ll leave me 😭😭😭.
I did not want to be touched or talked to while I was in labor😂😂😂 My labor pain was actually bearable my whole life I suffered extreme menstrual cramping. I was labor for 48 hours. At hour 46 I was induced and that’s when I couldn’t take it, I got the epidural and then my son’s heart rate dropped and I had to have an emergency C-section Moral of the story, my pain was manageable lol but I have a high tolerance for pain #HappyMothersday
I gave birth 2 times induced, and third was thank God a natural birth. Contractions when induced are hell. I tought that I was gonna die. Third was a piece of cake compared to first two. Fast, natural contractions that were painfull especialy at the end , but berable , so much more berable then when induced . I gave birth 15 min after I got to the hospital. 😊
No kids yet, I have a high pain tolerance also.. I don’t like being touched or talked to while in pain either in general (I’ve had kidney stones before) I noticed that I would hold breath so when I do have kids I’ll probably have to have someone remind me to breath
People don't remember their past lives but all of us have given birth in past lives. Our souls remember the experience but our egos do not. So this is bringing back an old soul memory from loooong ago for these men who seem to need to be reminded!
5:56 I had my first son with no epidural because it was a dificult labor. It took me 36 hours to give birth. My husband was with me and saw me suffer and he still asked for more kids.
I'd love to see a woman do the simulator and tell us what level best matched her actual pain. Then make the guy do that! I can't even do period cramps. So I never had kids!!!
"10? Don't go crazy." 😂 His wife is like turn it up bitch! You want a fourth kid? Take this! 😂 How many hospitals offer moms such high standard of care?
I love that he tapped out like it was a UFC match or something lol can't tap out during real life labor until the baby comes out Mario! 🤣🤣🤣 Guess this make mom's better than all ufc fighters 😅😂
Lol he’s like I don’t want to be touched and don’t talk to me. Exactly what I was saying, only thing I wanted to hear is when another contraction is coming 😂 lol labor is just the half of it you tear down there and breastfeeding is so brutal but here I am doing it again 🤣
Lol, 😂 I can relate as well. In my first pregnancy I didn't want to be touched or talked to and especially any of my family members talking in my room. Because while I was having contractions they were joking and laughing and so I said Everyone Get Out. To my in-laws, my mom and bestie 🤦🏻♀️🥴😂 but I made sure my husband stayed for the delivery😏
@@JOKERSLADY713 That’s far more repeatable than what I said, as my husband and nurse began laughing at the punchline of a joke at the same moment I was cresting on a contraction. I growled at them to “Shut the f**k up”. (Only swearing I did during delivery.)
I think it should be mandatory for ever man that gets a woman pregnant, that he feels our pain. Also not short phases, the whole labor thing they should feel.
When I went in labor with my 4th child I had to drive myself to the hospital...at night...in a storm....45 minutes away....in a car with a stick shift.
@@lianabaddley8217 Thanks, sweetie, but I'm actually not sorry. Weird as it sounds, it was just another part of one of the most amazing experiences of my life. :)
He is so respectful and gracious, but did not go into this with the level of fear that it deserved. LOL. Good job Mario. Took it better than a lot of men would have.
❤❤❤I love you watching guys do this 😊it’s so much fun watching laughing 😂 since guys won’t know what it’s like what it will feel like both period and having a baby 🤰 😊
I worked through my entire pregnancy! Swollen ankles, swollen face, mood swings, crazy food cravings! Just imagine that your squeezing a cantaloupe through the circumference of a kiwi and that's just the head! Then imagine the circumference of a watermelon going through the circumference of the cantaloupe for the shoulders and everything else is a cucumber!
I enjoyed every minute of it Mario and I know your rights did I loved it do you have a slight impression of what women go through monthly I don't think you really don't with something like that but child Labour yeah and you didn't even go up as far as where it gets to when the baby is coming down and being born
People shouldn't talk abut epidurals or a c section as if its a benign thing. All anaesthesia and operations have risk - Obviously benefit outweights risk in many cases but still, we should stop trivialising these two interventions.
That's just a pain simulation. Besides pain, it's also exhausting. After giving birth, I felt so sore like i was at the gym the day before but over exercising every inch of my body because pushing was the quite a workout. He was just 10 minutes. Women will be doing this for hours. Plus it's emotionally draining too.
@@polivepea No they didn’t . Why would they die of pain? They died for many reasons of complications from labour due to no medical care but they didn’t die of pain.
I'm kinda happy guys are willing to try it. Mario is in excellent physical condition so he could probably take little more Than most guys, still! It's no fun now is it?
Of all the videos that I have seen of birth simulations on men, he’s the champ. He obviously has great core strength. Does that make a difference? It seems like it would.🤔
A c-section will not save you. I have three children, all born by c-section, and with just two of them did 62 hours of back labor. It was excruciating.
I'm doing this when my husband wants me to have a child before I'm ready so that he can remember this is what I go through when I'm trying to bring your child into the world
the one lady in the audience just cackling louder than anyone else is having the time of her LIFE watching him suffer and i love her for it
Yep

Uterus not stomach....basic biology.
I lost it when he said Don’t touch me and Don’t talk to me!!!!!!😂😂😂😂
That’s was great. I kinda wanted her to stop talking 😂
That's that PMS speaking 😂😂😂😂😂
I was expecting him to scream for an epidural by the time the simulation was at 4 or 5. He must have a high pain tolerance. This was hysterical.
It worked out his abs 😂
He boxes a lot so it makes sense. He’s used to getting beat up hahaha!
😂😂😂 it should be mandatory for every expected dad
Shucks it should be mandatory for ANY male who says, "I want 5 children." Heck let them feel this at age 16 in schools 😂😂😂
Hell yeah 👍 I AGREE 💯
Absolutely😂😂😂😂
Absolutely!
I totally agree!
“That’s awful “… and yet, that is nothing compared to real labor and birthing! 🤣🤣🤣

I (who gave birth three times) appreciate the acknowledgement from him before they even got started! Also, each birth is a unique experience.
This is wholesome 😅😅😅😅 loved how he kept telling her I don’t want to be touched right now and please don’t talk to me. 😂😂😂

I love this couple they need a reality tv show again
He should be thankful he's only experiencing labor pains as delivery is a beast all of it's own.
C section is not a joke . The recovery is very painful .
Yes. I've never had one but it seems like it would be worse.😮
Had two and gonna have my third…c sections are far worse.
He acts like it's a get out of labor pain free card. NOPE!!!!
Some of us deal with pain from it forever. There's scar tissue in there that still hurts!
