Excellent review of this most interesting watch. A lot to like here, great dimensions and a micro brand with its own design language. It’s a tempter that’s for sure.
I always enjoy your video and music as well as the content of your review. Nice work. Btw, may I ask what tool to remove bracelet you have when you showing how versatile of the watch of straps?
They just launched a model almost like that called the Noble. There are some slight differences to the hand set and the hour markers, but there's no GMT and the dial is more like the Atlas rather than the Triumph.
Great review man love Monta. We recently had Justin on our Podcasts, and he is such a nice down to earth guy. I can’t wait to review their watches on my channel. Keep it up!
You're my favourite reviewer on here tbh... All started with your Snowflake video... and the follow up 4k. This is a great watch and a great review, it's a shame about the pricing. I appreciate it is high quality and well designed, but I do think its priced outside of its market. Should be a couple 100 cheaper and it would be an absolute fantastic proposition in my humble opinion! Take care and great job as always :)
By all accounts, very nice watch for the $, but their style is generic/boring to me, and sizes smaller then I prefer. I think micro's like Farer are making real strides and taking chances.
Overpriced. This online watch brand is ruining the hobby.. this kind of brand (zero pedigree, online distribution, interchangeable movements) should be in the sub $1000 mark. If they succeed, more brands will follow, thus ruining the hobby.

This Monta is a beautiful piece! I'd love to see you do the Ball Roadmaster Marine GMT. I really love the Green Dial version!
Monta and Formex are making some excellent stuff
They certainly are
Please never change the way you conduct this channel...It’s terrifically satisfying!
My Monta Triumph arrives today!! So pumped.
I'm currently undecided between this monta and the sinn 556i so thanks for making those beautiful videos and helping me out choose.
I'm in a similar position, looking for 1k-ish nice everyday watch. Sinn 556, Christopher Ward C65, then Monta for a higher budget.
Damasko as well
@@BrakkoJanus love the Christopher Ward C60 too.
I have a Monta Triumph and it's incredible. Close to perfect 👌
CW C60 Trident all the way for hundreds less with similar features.
Currently wearing my Triumph as I'm watching this video...
Wearing my Oceanking...
Barring the logo the Christopher Ward C60 Trident series especially the GMT in blue looks great... hope you could get that on the channel some day.
I am wearing this exact watch today. It is a great watch, and I love how thin it is, especially for a GMT watch
The bracelet on this watch is super nice.❤
It helps if your founder is also a watch collector/enthusiast.

Have the Triumph. A lovely watch. However now I have the Traska Summitteer . Oh my, what a choice
This one or the Grand Seiko sbgn005 gmt?
This watch looks to be a pretty cool one! Another cool review 👌🏻
would love a 3 hand version with no 24 hr track!
I am with you

Great review. I really need to try Monta 👍🏻
"Sad meaningless life of someone who doesn't collect watches" Hahahaha :)
I weep for them. And for us.
@@YoureTerrific which brand are those spring bar tweezers?
Great review, great watch. Thanks Evan! Now give us the Parmigiani ;)
Great video!! What’s the power reserve of this movement?
42 hours according to the Monta website.

Great review. This is the only micro brand that I have any interest in.
This watch looks to be pretty pretty cool :) Another cool review 👌🏻
I have this watch , it's very nice but I really want the skyquest gmt opaline and gold dial .

Bought the blue dial atlas several months ago. I liked it at first but it lost its luster quickly and now hardly gets wrist time.
How so please tell me because I'm so tempted to get the blue dial atlas
@@theburmesegent1595 did you give into your temptation ? If so, are you pleased with the Atlas?
@@johncover9757 I did not because way too big for my wrists (6.1)
@@theburmesegent1595 i have the exact same wrist size, which watch did you end up buying?

Annoys me that the chapter ring is not colour matched to the dial, Aquamarine versus dark blue.

My only concern is that it seems a little bland compared to Farer, like the Lander IV.
Too pricey for me I went with Eterna
Some people like the bent GMT hand, I personally can't stand it, it looks very unappealing.
Bargain?
Absolutely! 😊
Sad n meaningless life people live 🤣👍
Hour, Minutes and GMT hands do not speak the same language. The GMT hand is bent, looks like a flaw.
for the money get a omega seamaster pro instead
A non real GMT of an unknown brand for $1840. No thanks that’s half the price of a Tudor, the better replica.
That might be a nice watch, but after less than 2 minutes I have had enough of the rap concert.

Not marketed at you mate.
Calm down 😂
Monta, an extremely small brand that nobody has heard of, isn’t ruining anything. Collectors are ruining the hobby.
