oh, something Linkus said reminded me of a horrible event i saw on the news... a guy took his very young daughter to a shooting range and let her try to use an Uzi on full auto... the recoil made it go up and to the side, and hit HIM! i don't think he survived...
As far as that Dad and son at the range. As long as he's taught proper gun safety techniques, then I see no reason letting him shoot an automatic firearm. I shot my first Automatic Firearm when I was 14 so it's not as monkaS as you may have been feeling.
I am a 30 yr old from alberta canada.. and whoever this lady's extended family is, sounds like i wish they were another part of my extended family. They sound so sick! My wife's extended family are all like... Inner city solypsists (i forget how to spell that one, my wife would know hahah).
