  • "Bee Happy" is a great beginner scroll saw project, as it introduces you to all the skills needed to excel at the craft of scroll sawing. Yet, there is enough to the pattern that it is still a challenge for those with experience. I will take you through the build step-by-step and give several scroll saw cutting tips along the way.
The pattern is available at Steve Good's website: www.scrollsawworkshop.blogspot.com.
You can purchase the Pegas scroll saw and Pegas Modified Geometry blades from Bear Woods Supply at www.bearwood.com/?aff=bhw. (This is an affiliate link, and I will receive a commission on any orders placed through that link.)

Wow, thank you so much! As I’m a beginner. And I’m working on exercises in my scroll saw work book by John Nelson. And I just got to the exercise pertaining to the butterfly cutout!

Welcome to the channel! This pattern will be a little challenging for a beginner, but it is certainly doable.

@@keithdavison5578 Keith, I really appreciate your comment. I taught an adult Sunday School class for over 20 years and was also an adjunct faculty member at a large university for several years, so teaching what I know about woodworking on UA-cam is just my latest teaching gig.
