EXCELLENT tips.....thanks so much for sharing!!! I have this same Dewalt planer but haven't had to change the blades yet. I was apprehensive about when I will have to do it but after watching your video I wouldn't worry about giving it a try. I also use a lot of thin stock for scroll saw work so I appreciate your tip on how to do that!

I didn't think rounding over the edges between the different colored sections of the butterfly's wings looked natural here so I didn't do it. I have other intasia pieces like a horse's or dog's head portrait where I do extensive roundovers.

Thanks for the video. My wife loves hot air balloons. I want to cut this out for her. Where do yo get your 1/4 inch Baltic Burch plywood? I have been buying 1/8 Baltic Burch and much from Amazon. When I looked for 1/4 inch the price really shot up which I expected.

I usually get my Baltic birch plywood in 30 x 30 sheets from my local hardwood dealer. I did, however, but a dozen 12x12 sheets from Amazon when someone ran a sale on the site. I think I paid $1 a sheet.
