- This video was suppose to be about a simple script that allows you to download any version of Windows 10 or 11. However, when I was testing the script, I noticed that the ISOs created for Windows 11 will install on unsupported hardware. So this video is about not only downloading any version of windows 10 or 11 you want but its also about installing Windows 11 on unsupported hardware.

@7:18 - you can also install a "send-to" option in windows explorer to make the bypass apply to any windows ISO you may have.

Nice video my friend. But just a question.. I'm wondering.. why to do all this vs downloading iso from MS on our language and use Rufus directly to make a bootable USB just for this installation and this way we can keep original iso for supported hardware's inside Ventoy USB??
Because sometimes you need an older build of Windows that Microsoft doesn't offer anymore.
I keep a copy of Windows 7 (sometimes even Vista and XP...) and Windows 10 on my pendrive (made the bootable USB with Ventoy), just in case my PC freaks out and needs to be refreshed 😀
BTW, I do use VMware (sometimes), so I need the older releases anyway...
Ive been running a dual boot system for years. Started on Win 7 and Ubuntu and through the years updated Win and Ubuntu and changed to end up with Win10, various versions of Mint and Bohdi. I tried a few times to upgrade to Win 11 but always had an issue with my Asus board bios that somehow did not want to do the right thing with secure boot. Perhaps it was Grub that sabotaged my efforts? I was starting to wonder if it is even possible to upgrade to 11 on a multi boot system. In the end i decided that it is not such a big deal and I'll just stick with 10 for the few times I wanted to boot into Windows. Yesterday the YT algorithm recommended this video and I decided "What the heck let's bite the bullet and use your method". It was a doddle. Total seamless upgrade and everything is working 100% Thanks! Now wondering if this will work my old laptop running an AMD A10 that definitely doesn't have the correct system requirements.

The thing about installing WIndows 11 on unsupported hardware is that they might send out updates someday that prevent Windows from booting or you from logging in. Then your only option would be to completely reinstall some version of Windows. I on the other hand am starting to lean toward Linux. That is because they are making Windows into a progressively crappier OS.
yep. they are making me miserable, and my older versions dont function anymore. they are trying to funnel people into this trash of an OS version

Installing Windows 11 on an unsupported laptop, what minimum specs would you recommend the laptop have? i.e. oldest year CPU, etc? External GPU required? And I'd assume at least 8GB Ram, though with my motherboard with i7 CPU, I have 16GB Ram.

I cant get any of these methods to work. Im running Windows 10 v1909 on a Ryzen 7 1700. I have tried three of these methods and I keep getting a failed message 0xC1900101 - 0x20017. I am following along exactly as you instruct but still fail. Am I supposed to do anything else not mentioned in the video that would help?

idk if they fixed this issue, it for awhile if you use this method then Windows Updates don't work when you actually install Windows. Had the problem with Windows 10 and Windows 11.
I tried this on three different computer, all fully licensed and updated Win 10 22H2. No luck. It passed, or skipped the hardware check but wouldn't pass the authentication key on any of them. Did Microsoft get wise to this?

I tried both the registry hack AND the "setupprep /product server" hack and I still could not get either method to work. I tried installing both Win10 and Win11 over the top of Win7 (fresh installation, not an upgrade). Nothing worked. I kept getting the error stating PREFETCHW is a critical function that the CPU does not support. This particular CPU is: Intel Pentium 4 524 (Prescott), Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.06GHz, Socket 775 LGA (0x4), Instructions sets MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, EM64T.

Get their USB Recovery Creator Tool. You can use that to do a factory restore.

I always put a windows install on a bootable vhd, so if something very wrong happens i can quickly get a fresh install.

Maybe not with this script, but you can use the media creation tool itself to do it from Powershell in administrator mode: "MediaCreationTool1909.exe /Eula Accept /Retail /MediaArch x64 /MediaLangCode en-US /MediaEdition Enterprise"
I assume you understand you will need the correct GVLK and a KMS server, since I'm not sure you can permanently MAK activate the Enterprise edition. You can downgrade to pro without a reinstall, but it's a non-trivial process.
It would be great to know how to install Windows 7 on unsupported hardware. From what you just did here, I suspect you're the most likely person to know how to go about that Rich. Great videos. running w11 on a 4th gen intel CPU with no real problem ,,,, but it's getting slower week by week.. maybe 4th gen is a stretch by now.

Thanks. My wife's computer doesn't support win 11 but it's still a great computer for what she does on it. I really wasn't happy about the idea of spending money just to support TPM. This might be the way to go.

Why do I need to install Windows 11? As for me it is more necessary to have a program that will burn an image in such a way that 11 Windows can not install anywhere, because it is terrible

Well technically, I don't like reinstalling Windows. I think it's much easier just to fix a broken windows install then going through the process of reinstalling.

I'm going to download the W11_23H2 iso and put it to the test in this very unsupported hardware: MSI K9N2 Diamond mobo with an AMD Phenom II 4 core proccesor, 2.5 Ghz. 4 GB of DDR2 800 Ram and Nvidia N980a integrated video and two 80GB IDE HDDs. Hard to source an ISO for it anymore since support ended a while ago. Not impossible, but not easy. Since it's also no longer considered secure, pretty much everything has moved on.

Good video, but I came for the title which said "any windows version" and that's not what's being discussed here. This topic about Windows 10 and 11 and those certainly aren't "any windows version" ;). I didn't think it would be practical to obtain ISOs for older versions, so I came to see what magic you were summoning. Turns out there's no magic as you were using the word "any" to just mean current Windows. You weren't trying to mislead people, but I was successfully seduced through misunderstanding . No, they are not original ISOs. However, you can create original ISOs with the tool. I didn't cover that in the video.

Repoting back: Success. I followed your procedure, but had to use Rufus to mount the image because I have no DVDs. Installed W11 in the rig described in my comment below and everything was Ok except that I couldn't skip the Microsoft account creation (I don't know why). But that was not a big issue because I created a new one and problem solved. W11 is running smoothly in that rig save for the fact that the programs load times are painfully long and slow but I'm aware that is due to the fact than I'm using an 15 year old 80 GB IDE mechanical drive. Also my ammount od usable RAM is 3.5 GB because I allocated 512 MB to the integrated video of the mobo. I'm still testing W11 but is a very good looking and stable program. I debloated it (following your instructions from another vid) and unisntalled some programs I don't use, like One Drive. Your point was proven sir and I hope this vid goes viral. There will be 200 million happy and grateful users in the world when they find out that W11 can be installed without any problem in an unsupported PC, it will run fine and, last but not least, will get all its updates. 😃

My dislike for windows is more than unsupported hardware. I have supported hardware on most of my systems. I turn off TPM which makes them Unsupported. What I do not like is the fact that I just want to run the software I want to run with out it phoning home or jamming me with popups and commercial advertisements I when I am working ... I do not what my stats sold on how long I game on a none network game or other programs I use to create with even though I am not a professional. I feel that is putting an undue hardship on folks like me. It is hard to come up with the money to buy my PC and upgrade it and to add the software I pay for to use. Not many software programs have lifetime upgrades but even that can be a trap. I have paid for many upgrades. If I check for them is one thing and look at the new features it may have. But to be bombarded with ands mixed with stupid things in not what I want. I would love to see a better windows program that windows. So far it not there. So I view MS windows as a virus.
Disabling TPM will not make it unsupported. The TPM requirement requires systems that are TPM capable. It doesn't have to be enabled.
The only way to not get your data harvested is to not use the internet at all and not have a cellphone. Unfortunately it's a new reality that doesn't seem to be slowing down.

If MS doesn't want me to upgrade my hardware to W11, FINE! I stick to W10 then, if it will be unsupported, FINE I switch to Linux. There is really no need for another how to bypass hardware and TPM check video.
There is also no need for yet another "FINE I switch to Linux" comment either. Some people don't want to switch to Linux and may actually need Windows. Linux is a steep learning curve for most average users and from my experience the so called Linux community is full of users with a superiority complex who berate anyone new to the platform and ask for help.

It could be that companies that sell keys have a contract with Microsoft to do so. Why would MS not sue or block these companies otherwise? If someone was stealing your property, wouldn't you do something about it?
