Nascar Intentional Cautions

- Although this issue hasn’t come up in awhile, intentional cautions have always interested me because of how they change race outcomes and how the drivers attempt to get the yellow. I hope you guys enjoyed this weeks video and if you did make sure to leave some suggestions down in the comments down below. Thanks for watching and I hope you all enjoyed!

1:52 I just love how Brad is just sitting right there as Kevin accuses him of intentionally causing a caution, and basically throws him under the bus.
That 2015 Talladega finish was BS
100% agree!!!!!
And if it wasn't for limiting the GWC attempts to just one, it wouldn't have been so bad. Barring that, not be so inconsistent with their rules, and get the oxycodone drunk out of the CEO seat.
That make me so mad 5:18 but glad Joey didn’t advance next round
@@JeffWeselyanJoey did advance to the next round but not the championship 4
That's my thoughts on it I 100% agree
Bubba Wallace interview about how he wasn't racing for Chev in 2019 is just another example of why he is strongly disliked. People pull the race card, but the reality is he is just a not very nice piece of work. His record shows it.
And in cases like Harvick wrecking the field in 2015, there is ample evidence that he did it to not get eliminated, so disqualify him from the season for match fixing. It's not hard, but NASCAR isn't exactly what we could consider a smart series.
07:38 Yesterday, 10 years ago. Bowyer's spingate one of the biggest controversies in NASCAR where Newman and Gordon (as 13th driver) in the Chase while Truex was out after the penalty.
The same spotter Brett Griffin last year insulted Truck driver Carson Hocevar in one of his tweets after the intentional spin at Talladega Superspeedway and I hope add it in a 2nd part of intentional cautions.
Beat me to it, was just about to comment that. lol
I like a part 2 of cautions done on purpose if you please.
NASCAR’s one attempt at GWC at Talladega 15 was the worst rule ever
That was a bad race!
They pretty much did it because of Dillon's crash at Daytona back in July.
Oh there’s plenty of Intentional Cautions. Can’t wait for Part 2!
Why are you forcing him to make another video? Wtf??
@@Pigeongamer_I’m not. It’s just that there’s so many intentional cautions and it could be like some series.
You’re overreacting
@@IanTheMotorsportsMan_YT wtf is wrong with you. He makes whatever videos he wants. You’re not his employer, you can’t tell him what to do.
@@Pigeongamer_ that wasn’t what I meant. You’re overreacting
@@IanTheMotorsportsMan_YT Yeah you're a bit out of line here.. it really sounds like you're forcing him to make more videos that you want.
Bowyer spingate was 10 years ago yesterday 🥲 boy how time flies
The moment where bubba caused the caution on purpose and the Charlotte incident with bowman was the beginning of me not liking bubba Wallace but we all know it exploded next year to not liking him.
Yeah cause he got that gay pride flag removed from the sport finally
Funny how Harvick did that at Talladega yet he complained about Keselowski throwing out a water bottle...
because the Harvick incident was years before he did the Talladega one
Reed Sorenson's rollbar padding incident at Texas.
NASCAR routinely manipulates races, the Drivers are just following suit. As Dale Jr once said on incar radio, "debris debris debris debris'
If you're willing to add F1 to the list, look at Crashgate from 2008.
edit: had the wrong name for that event
Nelson Piquet Jr's legacy right there
Way back in the day when my dad ran late models he was racing at Myrtle Beach. He was running third with about 10 to go and was too far back of the leaders so he broke his mirror off and threw it in the track to get a caution. He went on to win
What a tale lol smart man
@@TheAnimationStationYT another good one at Myrtle Beach is when he had a flat on lap 1, got it changed and managed to get the lead with about 7 or 8 to go. The problem was that when we changed the tire we accidentally put a left side tire on the right front, it would never pass inspection. So you could imagine how I felt having to radio to him that he wasn't going to win because of the tire. He came back and said "alright, fuck it. Don't worry about it". Over the last laps he gradually backed up to the 2nd place car to the point where he was right behind him. When he was crossing the line in the trioval on the last lap he made a hard right and destroyed the right front He made it look like the 2nd place car turned him. The only thing he said on the radio was "Measure that fucker now".
@@cooperwiggins226 wow the ultimate strategy play
Kevin Harvick should have been suspended for several races for wrecking the field at Talladega
Only reason Harvick did what he did is NASCAR wanted to a Jr restart. There is no reason why they should've even had that restart other than to give Jr another chance (and you are changing my mind on that).
5:00 That pisses me off every time. Jr is clearly out in front but you know Nascar they just had to screw Jr over in the playoffs again. So glad the whole Joey Logano winning the 2015 championship blew up in their face.
Lmao the caution they showed on TV was delayed, they threw the caution earlier and Logano was ahead
NASCAR *not* taking Harvick out of the playoff & replacing him with Dale Jr. tells you everything you need to know about just how much of a farce that entire sorry excuse of a season 2015 was.
why/how would a water bottle bring out a caution?
Badass nascar
But no footage of Sadlers Pocono crash 🤷🏻♂️
😎😎😎😎😎😎
When Bowyer did what he did in 2013 at richmond i knew it be one of nascars worst moments.

The 2015 fall Talladega race still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. That was around the time I really started to hate Harvick. First he acted like a dick at Chicagoland that year when he punched Jimmie Johnson for no reason, then this Talladega BS.
Bubba should've hit the wall
And people wonder why Bubba is hated....
NASCAR ought'a disqualify drivers for causing yellow flags intentionally, that is severely controversy!
