Wow what a game, Notre Dame learned a lot from that Ohio State lost, they got their get back quick. Marcus Freeman got them playing like they are in the Big 10 physical tough football, he have brought that with him to Notre Dame.
It's out the door if OSU loses closely to Michigan, unfortunately. Any combination of the 3 B1G East powerhouses will take that #4 spot ahead of us if OSU doesn't win out. Not to mention if FSU and/or Texas run the table, either.
Sam Hartman had another Heisman moment with that 4th and 16 run. If his coaches had trusted him more and not allowed Ohio State to get the ball back, he'd be the Heisman frontrunner in my mind. As it stands, Quinn Ewers is for his performances against Alabama (Top 5 team) and Kansas (Top 25), followed by Drake Maye, Bo Nix, J.J. McCarthy, and Michael Penix Jr. Caleb Williams is unimpressive because his stats have been against bad teams, and Lee Corso and I picked him to win the Heisman in the preseason last season based off of value betting. Now that I've had a year to actually see him play, Drake Maye is far superior. These Pac-12 QBs haven't had Heisman moments because nobody plays defense in the conference. Need to wait until USC and Washington play real teams before passing judgment on those QBs
@@ADSeason25 No he won't. You know Hartman's line tonight? 15-30, 222 yards, 23 yards rushing. I'm not saying that to knock on Hartman, I'm just saying this wasn't a Heisman performance. Love Hartman, he got it together when he needed to, and that 4th down rush followed by the spike was next level stuff. I have no doubt he'll bounce back and put on a show against Louisville. Go Irish 🍀
One minute… In just one minute, Duke went from having a real chance at winning the ACC and going to the playoffs…to now losing their QB and likely losing several more games.
I'm very concerned with 2 games in a row with such lack of offense. 3rd down was terrible today. If they want any chance at beating USC they have to be able to put up 40 at the very least. Not looking so good
Good game for both teams. With two missed field goals this might be a different game. Iam a big 10 fan as they don’t get enough respect! Way to finish strong ND
4th and 16 and Duke gives up the game. Two chances at a pick to end the game. 2 missed field goals by the kicker. Duke really shot themselves in the foot here. Choking away a win at home is crazy.

ND won by 7 so even if the Duke kicker made both FGs he missed, that's only 6 points and they still lose. ND also missed a FG. Coulda shoulda woulda. Good game.

RJ Oben played a big role in this one, too. Can’t wait to see him and Leonard suit up for the Irish this fall.
That duke QBs mom was right! Her son "Does Suck" 😂🤫🤦🏽👀
Good game let's go notre dame with the win
Evans #88 a beast
I'm having the Irish going to the playoffs.
Knew it was going to be tough against a game Duke team. Didn’t realize the Irish were going to have to play the referees as well. Great teams find a way to win through it all, even when the refs are against you.

@@TB-yp4un notice you didn’t call me a “liar”… f****t
@@TB-yp4un ND has grossly been disproportionately penalized so far this season. Last night was the most recent example. 12 penalties on ND, 2 on Duke. It is what it is.

Not a fan of Notre Dame but the Qb sticking around to shake the hand of the Duke Qb is pure class. Much respect for him and his parents for raising a good young man.
Long live Notre Dame 🍀

Prayers for Dukes QB ✝️🙏🏻
Go Notre Dame! For the glory of God the father! Amen!
I was at the game, a crazy experience for my first college football game, Go Irish ☘️
Wow what a game, Notre Dame learned a lot from that Ohio State lost, they got their get back quick. Marcus Freeman got them playing like they are in the Big 10 physical tough football, he have brought that with him to Notre Dame.
Mike Elko and his coaching staff has done a great job turning this program around. Duke is going to be a tough team to beat.
Elko will have another chance at ND and he'll be up against his old QB
duke kicker gotta make those field goal would have been game changer entering the 4 quarter
Audric Estime and Notre Dame offensive Line was the main factor in Notre Dame winning this game on the road.
ND lost on a late TD last week to Ohio State and won on a late TD this week. If they win out they should be in good position for the playoffs.
USC Ohio and Michigan are all playing each other so should be plenty of room for 1 loss teams to make playoffs
It's out the door if OSU loses closely to Michigan, unfortunately. Any combination of the 3 B1G East powerhouses will take that #4 spot ahead of us if OSU doesn't win out.
Not to mention if FSU and/or Texas run the table, either.
Great game for Riley hope he recovers !
If notre dame wins out and Hartman continues to have games like this he will be a top heisman candidate.
How about that defensive battle between LSU and Ole Miss today in the SEC?
@@ADSeason25 No he won't. You know Hartman's line tonight? 15-30, 222 yards, 23 yards rushing.
I'm not saying that to knock on Hartman, I'm just saying this wasn't a Heisman performance. He had a Heisman moment, but he needs to put up the stats he was putting up in the first 4 games if he wants to win.
Love Hartman, he got it together when he needed to, and that 4th down rush followed by the spike was next level stuff. I have no doubt he'll bounce back and put on a show against Louisville.
Go Irish 🍀
@ryryfizzlehaha indeed
@@BlakeWR81 Stetson bennet wasn’t amazing last year and was a heisman candidate
Glad the Irish pulled it off but Duke played a good game. They are gonna be tough outing for anyone they play going forward.
They lost their QB 😢 hope they do well the rest of the year
@@JETX25sorry to hear that. I'm praying he recovers soon.
13:54 This is when it gets hot. Then at 14:17! I have a special place in my heart for Notre Dame, which is where Joe Montana played!❤
Terrible play calling when the guy runs for a first down and he says "He came up short (last week) but this is good".
What a game for duke hope the quarterback is okay
That Defense won’t stop Louisville offense next week
Sam Hartman is a grown man, dude is a professional he’s been in college forever.
One minute…
In just one minute, Duke went from having a real chance at winning the ACC and going to the playoffs…to now losing their QB and likely losing several more games.
Crazy work by Nd
1:32 Excellent block by the tight end #87! If he wasn’t notre dame he woulda got a sticker for that.
I'm very concerned with 2 games in a row with such lack of offense. 3rd down was terrible today.
If they want any chance at beating USC they have to be able to put up 40 at the very least. Not looking so good
Estime thank you
Yay Sam!!!
Good game for both teams. With two missed field goals this might be a different game. Iam a big 10 fan as they don’t get enough respect! Way to finish strong ND
Great game, awesome to see Duke hang with ND. On the other hand, hate to see ND win, and hate to see a promising QB hurt right at the end of the game.
They should be 6-0...
OSU finishes game winning drive, ND deserve win. ND finishes game winning drive, ND deserve win? Where’d the logic go?
CRAZZZY GAME~
4th and 16 and Duke gives up the game. Two chances at a pick to end the game. 2 missed field goals by the kicker. Duke really shot themselves in the foot here. Choking away a win at home is crazy.
shoutout to Sam hartman waiting outside the Duke tent for the Duke QB to check on him
If the Duke kicker makes his FGs, Duke wins the game.
Lmao again it doesn't matter. If nd makes their field goal they beat osu. If nd plays like they can and don't make mistakes nd doesn't even have this be a close game. Or if nd makes their field goal if we're playing ifs and than Duke makes their 2 they still loose. Ifs are irrelevant and stupid
ND won by 7 so even if the Duke kicker made both FGs he missed, that's only 6 points and they still lose. ND also missed a FG. Coulda shoulda woulda. Good game.
wow.......good finish boyz
Nortre dame lucky to survive that game
Duke defensive playcalling at the end lost them a game they had in the bag and doomed their quarterback. Get better coaches
This is literally last week but opposite.
Totally sucks to see the Duke QB get hurt at the end of the game. Hope he recovers soon. Duke was one missed FG away from having the momentum shift to put it away. Don't sleep on Duke.
This a very tough loss for Duke 😂 hope bro get better
Wow what a interesting game ...admit that both teams doing good game 😊!!!!!
