The theme of Seminoles season thus far, has been that their most difficult opponent, has been themselves. I don't see anyone remaining on their schedule offering a threat, so the challenge for the team, is to overcome the sloppiness and mistakes, which have called for most of their games being closer than needed. Become more efficient in the ground game, allowing Travis to be a threat with his legs, and that will open up the offense as a whole. This is a really well-rounded Florida State team, that might easily cakewalk into the playoffs, if they don't trip over themselves along the way

Travis body language makes its quite obvious that most of what they’re running during the first half wasn’t really as well aside from going to the TE. The offensive line could open holes efficiently through middle tonight so there another issue that needs be addressed.

Duke is not a top 15 anything. The ACC is just awful. The CFP should be Michigan, Georgia, Ohio State, and Alabama... which is what it should have been last year as well. The best teams in the weaker P5 conferences all got exposed today, especially OU and Washington. The Pac-12 is awful.

We also held the #3 scoring offense in LSU to 17 points outside of a garbage time touchdown. These guys have been battle tested, you would rather play down their opponents than admit their success

No. He got hurt a few weeks ago against Notre Dame and was reinjured last night. He wasn’t healthy the whole game and really had horrible stats even before his re injury. This Noles wishes him a full and speedy recovery.
Coach Norvell's adjustments when things werent going well for FSU really impressed me today. to shut Duke out in the 2nd half and completely turn the game around using Travis as a runner were brilliant

I hope Johnny Wilson is okay. He made some really tough catches in this game. Jordan Travis is too hard to stop when you have to worry about him as a dual-threat.
I think its the physicality of this team. As the game goes on you can see especially on offense how our linemen and out backs are dominating in the trenches... I love #6 Bell im always seeing him finish plays.
FSU has been their own worst enemy....Travis was dynamic last year because he was willing to run...this year he almost refused to run until this 4th quarter..we are dangerous when he will move the chains running if needed
True. He’s been trying to play it safe by running less to prevent another injury but when he runs we are completely unstoppable and too dangerous to defend. His running in the 2nd half is what kept the chains moving. He is such a complete QB❤

If FSU wins, they'll have beaten ranked teams in Miami, Duke, LSU, and UNC (championship game). OU will have wins over just Texas, the ONLY ranked tean they play all year... and they just squeaked out a 2pt win against unranked UCF with a losing record. Simple math, if FSU wins out, OU has no way to make up points in the AP rankings.

We KEPT losing contain on the outside. SO many plays where Duke bounced out to the corner for a big gain. Totally unacceptable
0:55s .... #77 sets the edge by HOLDING #4 DeLoach... without that, the TD never happens. The only other TD Duke had, was off a pick six. Not some miraculously interception mind you, but a tipped and deflected ball that happened to go to a Duke player not involved in the play. Our D is fine.

But even if a blown defensive assignment didn't lead to a score it's a mistake that shouldn't happen as frequently as it did last night. Dirty play to squeak out the win is unfortunate.
I don’t think it would have affected the game, neither do I think the penalty was intentional. However, Leonard was 7-16, 69 yards and an interception. The score was 38-20. That’s not squeaking out a win- Duke would have lost either way.
The play was a FACEMASK. A facemask does NOT have ANYTHING to do with a leg injury.
@@aidanchappell Duke was up and driving. FSU's last touchdown came after sealing the win with a 4th down stop in Duke's own territory. If Duke isn't down 2 scores they punt and can get the ball back still down 1. It's very clearly a significant injury.

What? Dude has been our best cover corner so far this year. Teams don’t throw to his side of the field. Yeah he took a bad angle on the first TD run, but Duke also got away with a massive hold on that run where we actually had the edge set.

If the season continues like this and Washington remains undefeated there is a good chance fsu will finish ranked 5 unless they start doing less mistakes, yes michigan and ohio face each other in the final week but you can justify leaving the loser at number 4 and Washington has 3 ranked opponents in schedule, so unless fsu starts destroying their opponents it will be difficult to justify leaving them in the top 4

If everyone wins out... keep in mind OSU and Michigan will work itself out... so you'll have one of them, Georgia, and Washington ahead of FSU. But no way Oklahoma will be ahead FSU. So FSU will be 4, OU will be the ones out at #5. Compare FSU and OU schedule/wins/strength of opponents. If FSU wins, they'll have beaten ranked teams in Miami, Duke, LSU, and UNC (championship game). OU will have wins over just Texas, the ONLY ranked tean they play all year... and they just squeaked out a 2pt win against unranked UCF with a losing record. Simple math, if FSU wins out, OU has no way to make up points in the AP rankings.
