Very helpful video! Just cleaned out 16 years worth of leaves and debris out of my son’s 2007 Commander’s AC blower motor. Took about 15 minutes for the entire job. Now AC sounds like new. Thank you!
It's so hard to find good videos about the commander and I've used yours to help me replace my radiator and now fix the loud ac just wanted to say thanks for putting out really helpful videos
Thanks for video. I’m in my late sixties and was able to do this for my granddaughter. I found and removed a couple of extra screws. Just look for the three screws with the Torx heads. Great video, and again, thanks.
I changed my mind about 5 years ago because it wouldn't run at the right speeds because the quote unquote resistors inside went bad. All I remember is the biggest pain in the ass was leaning under the dash with my fat ass to get to the screws. ;) $20.00 fix well worth it. As a side note you have the filter in your air box under the hood, then there is a cabin air filter that runs just under the windshield on the firewall between the engine and the interior cabin. Both of those filters should have kept out those large leaves......
Thank you, I just replaced the blend door actuator gear. My commander is louder when the recirc button is on, is this normal? I just want to make sure I installed the blend door motor correctly and operating backwards.
I have the same issue on my 07 commander but the compressor under the hood is making the noise the mechanic says 1700 to fix I don't know where to start it sucks
Arielle P, I can think of no reason why working with the blower would cause a check engine light. I would suggest getting someone to read the code to see what’s going on.
thank you for the helpful tips I have watched all of part 1-10 of how to rebuild the 3.7 engine for a jeep commander it is very helpful but I have a question about my engine and I was hoping you could Assist me and send me a private message back

Thank you for uploading this video. You just saved me from driving my wife's Commander off the cliff👍
Glad the videos are useful! My wife loves her Commander!
Mine does too, she gave up a 2013 COD Rubicon unlimited for an 06 commander HEMI.
Hey Trey. Thanks for this video! I just found the dead mouse in our fan....
Hi - Very helpful. Thanks!
The door that is above the blower broke off from the right end and I can’t find any replacement or fix for it.
Great tip. Thanks for the vid. Had a mouse in mine.

Ours is definitely louder when the recirculation is on.
Did you have to remove the entire dashboard to get to the blend door?
Just curious if you've had issues with the condensate drain clogging?
Bryan Leonard I have had that problem on other vehicles, but not on this one yet. I won't be surprised when it happens though!
ok thanks! everything I am seeing about it says its a PITA

Is it normal for the check engine light to come on right after this issue is fixed?

@@TreyClanton thank you! Also, my air is now not blowing as hard, is that normal?
I said a 2006 Jeep Commander for the glove compartment
