I have a metal .223/5.56 mag with no markings, and it has one hole on the back of the mag. It has two ribs at the bottom that go across to the front of the mag, it is a Russian made metal mag. The lines at the bottom go all the way across the Yugoslavian mags the two lines stop before the front of the mags.
when are we going to get a in depth warehouse tour! semi long!!! like 30 ish min !!!! i would love to see your stock pile of gun parts and how the parts come in!!!! another thing is show us some of the unique items or strange parts that come in some of the shipments you get !!!!! I really like the video from forgotten weapons when he did a tour of your facility!! but would love for it to be longer and go through more items!! also would love to see how you guys demill your kits before entering the states or if they are pre demilled when you buy them!!!! please please please do a video like this i really enjoy watching gun related warehouse/facility videos.
Apex is the shit!! Keep bringing them badass parts kits!! Love em XD also i have Romanian Magazines with spine stamp 22 and some with O and spine stamps 22 s i just noticed you didnt mention that at all on those, nvm u did just didnt say what numbers haha , appreciate the info! I believe i have a few egyptian mags i had no idea where they were from until seeing this! Thanks for sharing!
So I got this Romanian mag and all it has on it on the back spine is an upside down “5” and closer to the top are two little lines right next to each other which I’m not even sure they’re meant to be there, somebody probably just messed up!
I sifted through the video trying to find my mags. No luck. One is a steel mag, standard 5 rib, pretty light welds, only marking I’ve found is an M inside a circle on the spine. Painted. The other is a steel mag, two ribs on the bottom, slightly deeper welds, I cannot find a single marking anywhere. No spine. And I believe they are blued. Please help
I can tell by looking at my mags that theyre not the same, but still have no idea where they come from and some guy tried to carve slavaboo moon runes into one. W?CD I got yur mag bro.
I would’ve enjoyed this More is just that I feel like if you have to explain to someone how to differentiate the magazine calibers then this video is obviously gearded for literal brain dead gun buyers, no hate on the channel because the guy (you) talking seems interesting and good personality, but it’s annoying having to sit there and listen to the MOST basic of basic facts. It’s like saying 2+2 is math and math has numbers in it. It’s just annoying cus I’m here for useful information not 2+2
Btw the "bakelite" mags are not made out of bakelite. But what to expect from an English speaking AK community. People even use the name of the prototype (AK-47) instead of the true name - AK.
Ak-47; No such thing. It's an AK, AKM or an AK-74. Other countries have their on versions. The AK-47 name was a mistake made in a US Army manual that never went away

Very informative and well done!
I identified a Hungarian mag by the "man in the moon" & 02 symbols on the rib. Thx
Best vid on this ever!
How about when TF are you guys going to get romanian dong lower handgaurds and surplus bayonets? Any chance if bakelite?
Very helpful
1 Chinese
1 blued Romanian
1parkerized Romanian (with a VERY faint factory mark that i only just noticed.)
Could you send me all the mags you have so I can learn for the next 1-60 years? I'm a hands on learner....
So I got this Romanian mag and all it has on it on the back spine is an upside down “5” and closer to the top are two little lines right next to each other which I’m not even sure they’re meant to be there, somebody probably just messed up!
Great vid, thank you.
Great video!
I think i got a slovian ak mag. I got no markings, only two lines at the bottom and its black. Also the welds are light and there are no markings
Also you should do a vid like this but on the whole gun
Thanx for the work!
Thank you for the info!
I’m trying to figure out what mags will run in my maadi misr 96-97 import 7.62. Particularly mags that are not super expensive. That would be nice 😊
Steel surplus, many of the ones he is mentioning here are Not expensive and will last. Your great grandkids children will be able to use them👍
Anyone know what a 20 round Chinese mag with a star on it sells for not much info on it
The Chinese mags are the second best selling AK mags. Prices very on them at one point 50.00 now December of 2022 high end would be 30.00.
Why are my polish mags like greenish instead black black or grayish got them from gunmag warehouse like 2 weeks ago

Is there such a thing as a 40round north Korean steel magazine? Or only south Korean
Yes they have 40 round North Korean mags very hard to get. They have to be smuggled in to America because of the sanctions.
I think I have a east German mag but the letters N J on on it
My magazine is military but it doesn't have any weld marks and doesn't have any markings
Most AK mags don’t have markings. It’s hard to find out exactly what country they come from.
My mag which is likely Romanian has a mark almost like a peace sign stamped on the spine. Anyone ever see something like that before?
Just fyi guys get a few more lights, that room looks super dark.
how to id ak 47s?
Good video, but it looks like it was recorded about 11 years ago.
i guess my soviet pattern drum mag is Romanian.
None of my magazines have stamps
Can tell alot by the spot welds.
Sometimes the markings are so light you hafta use a magnifying glass, some of mine I had to .
Interesting
There are Bulgarian slab sides too and did you miss the waffle Russians?
I would’ve enjoyed this

From your comment it sounds like this video was made for you!
Where were the South Koreans?
Your website is preventing me from entering and viewing your products. What a shame.

I think most are aware of that but still use it anyway, just like the false pronounciation of Garand.
Also you didnt see him doing air quotations when he picked up the east german one.
The true Name is AKM.
@@cheezychungus967 That doesn't apply to AK 1949-1959.
@@BloPsy_Actual touche, you got me there.

Is that why Mikhail Kalashnikov referred to it as an AK-47 in several interviews? Derp derp.
