What else would you expect? An accurate comparison would be throwing rocks at soldiers with AK47s and other modern weapons. And technically speaking, that's not true. Basically, most of XCOM:EU was an alien simulation to see what we would do involving the invasion.

So most likely anyone playing on the harder difficulties or ironman straight up lost more times than they won. If you beat EU in the first try congradulations, dont play xcom 2 then. If you lost, then this is the game for you.

Thanks for that! I tried to pause 16 minutes in to answer the phone and it skipped the last 3 minutes of the opening. This saved me 15 minutes.

Metro 2033 is the same way. So few people got the good ending, they made the bad ending canonical in last light.
