- Another fossil hunt with my good friends Paleo Cris and Wild Kyle. We hunt for fossil shark teeth and artifacts like arrowheads or spear points in a very small private creek. The trip pays off and we find some great fossils including a toe bone to a large carnivore: maybe Saber Cat or Bear Dog?! I also find one of my coolest arrowheads to date.

adventures and follow along as we trek to new and unexplored areas.

OMG that point is incredible! I think it's a Greenbrier. I like the tree effect in your intro, pretty cool!
Thanks for the support!
Great video bro!!! I’ll be excited to hear what that toe bone is from!!!
Thanks! Still waiting to hear back, but we will deff shout it out in the next video when we have an ID.
Ended up being Bear Dog!
Great video, thanks for sharing
Cool have you ever found chubutensis Shark teeth there big like Angustiden and Megalodon
I have a couple Chubs, but they are a rare find for me. I also only have a few Angustiden teeth for some reason where I hunt in South FL they are not common. I find a bunch of megs though!!
Awesome finds! Love the colors
Wow! Shark teeth and an awesome Native American artifact! Nice!
Dope vid bro where is this at or like a general area where you can just pull up with some shovels and stuff and get after it ?
Thanks! Honestly in Florida almost any creek COULD have fossils. I just look for gravel and rocks and then take a screen. If I see any little teeth or pices of bone its worth hunting. If its only shell and rock I move on. You can checkout some Facebook groups to get started at known areas, but you get a tiny creek that has bone laden gravel and you just scored a spot all your own!
Yes! You just missed..... crap! It's on the left top side next to the multi color rock.
You see it??
Man......... I'm 3, yrs too late.
Man I cant believe you didnt break that point!
When you find teeth like that in the creek; does this mean that the area was once ocean? Thank you for sharing your amazing finds.
Yes! Theses were deposited during a time this spot was ocean. Covered over time the creek cuts to a layer in the earth that dates back to this time (millions of years ago!). Almost all of Florida was ocean floor and many areas around the world are the same.
Where in North Florida? 😋 I'm guessing near Gainesville or Lake City. Hoping to find some nice shark's teeth in creeks here in Tallahassee. Tried one creek with no luck. Any tips would be awesome. I have a feeling I'll have to drive to get to a good place.
Yes Gainesville area so much in that area, but be carefully they put a ban on shovels recently.
