Question. Does keeping the ear and under the ear shaved close help with ventilation and prevention of infection?
Hi, great question! Absolutely - I shave in front of the ears of most of my Doodles (the Poodles usually get a clean face which includes the front of the ear), as well as many of the Spaniels and other breeds with a lot of hair up there. And yes, better ventilation of the canal definitely aids in better ear health, according to every veterinarian I have spoken with. Thanks so much for contributing! 😍
