Personally I don’t hear anything wrong with the recording. They are great singers and yes they have British accents but they are the WEST END cast, and American accents are hard to do.
I think their singing is great, but their accents are like half-American and half-British which feels off. Like, to me at least it doesn't sound like a full British accent
@@Father_of_Death Jodi played Heather Chandler, if I recall correctly. I could be wrong, of course. Both are talented actresses and singers anyways so cant go wrong either way :)
Mean Girls took inspiration from this movie. I can't tell by the tone but if you're upset at Heather's for being similar, you gotta point that towards Mean Girls. Both equally good movies, Heathers is just a little bit better tho
Mean girls was inspired by heather's, and it's like a more child friendly version of heather's imo, I prefer heather's a but more since there are actual stakes, but in mean girls, the only danger is hurt feelings
@@cow167 I think "hurt feelings" is a bit of an understatement. They're risking reputation, which is VERY important in the high school Mean Girls takes place in.
Heathers is way older than mean girls, and honestly this song is perfectly fine where it is. Heathers (mostly the original version) has a certain edge to it that you don’t find in a lot of musicals, which is why I’m not a huge fan of the west end version. But everyone has their opinions!
why do the mean girls have to always have the most bomb songs i mean dang
I agree, but you've gotta love 'I say no'.
DANG DANG DIGITTY DANG A DANG
IM MEAN AND MY SONGS ARE BAD!
right?!
This is heathers
Bless you, the other heathers uk audios were deleted ;-; so i thank you for uploading the lyrics
it has a good beat

@@ruthswann88 yea but they are trying their hardest to do the American accent- but I would love to see a British Heather chandler
@@articbear6654 I would have honestly liked it better if they kept to a British accent, I agree that British Heathers would be really cool
@@ruthswann88 Yea but I mean the setting is in America so I get why they couldn’t keep it
@@articbear6654 they could explain it as being a British school for people in America.
I love Heather MacNamara's voice.
The actress is called Sophie Isaacs if you wanna hear more of her stuff!
@@hannahrose8972 I thought it was Jodi Steele...

Sophie could literally play any character in the world and I'm here for it. Also Carrie(Veronica).
Its cute(I so sorry for the one that didn't get to sing😅😅)
At least in this version she gets her own song eventually (Never shut up again)
Heather Duke kinda reminds me of CypherDen. :D
How so?
Stop, stop, stop! You're going to take someone's eye out. Besides, you're saying it wrong. It's LeviOsa, not LeviosAR!
Is 99% of the cast not from America. No seriously.
Well yeah I think so. Considering its the West End show, which is in England
Hermione Granger Oh, I did not know thay
The actress playing Heather Chandler, got to play the role for a very long time. Is she still playing the role in the West End or UK Tour of the show?
jodie steele ? no she’s not anymore but she was really good
Damn.
Go Jodie!
Is it me or did she sound like Nicole or Aphmau’s mom at 0:17
My favorite part at 2:26
Why does Heather Chandler’s actress sound like Lauren Lopez from Team Starkid to me? Like is this just me? Does anyone else hear it?
Bro why is this like mean girls like cmon :O like this is just like the three in the first movie of mean girls
Ikr! It's worth noting that Heathers came first, but I know what you mean!

octonauts
This song should be in mean girls
