Í’ve been using Isaro watercolors for 2 years and I agree with your findings. The colors are smooth and vivid at the same time, no pb with binding, rewet easily, doesn’t fuse too much. I was very happy to see colors that I don’t own. Yellow ochre is beautiful, quite transparent and non granulating, very nice for skies. Also cobalt blue and indanthrene blue are interesting. I suggest also Brun Van Dijck which is made from bk11 and pr101, and mixes beautifully with magenta. Chartreuse yellow is a particularly interesting green gold (py129). Magenta is excellent for mixes. And last, if you like perlescent colors, try Boreal blue, it is just amazing. I also have pyrole orange, turquoise ( great mix of phtalos), phtalo blue green shade, all are great. Isaro is the contraction of Isabelle Roeloffs, she has a nice website where you can order colors for a decent price.

I love that you show the product in use in a painting . No better way to see how the products preforms than that. Thank you. I've seen this brand searched countless times by countless youtubers and never once have the swatches made this brand appealed to me. Seeing them in use however, seeing how they react with one another puts this product in a whole new perspective. They have a little more personality than swatching shows. Thank you. Still sticking with Daniel smith though.

Thank you for the nice introduction to Isaro watercolors. I am not too familiar with this brand although I do have one color from the, in my collection, Isaro Grey. It is similar to Davys Grey but a little more gray. I like your painting very much. Have a great weekend!

Rosso rubino, from Gallo, is a darker color, very special, with a curious undertone when diluted. Again, thank you for your videos😊

First of all, I love your leaf painting and watching it emerge was very relaxing! Now I have mostly not changed my mind. They look like lovely paints and I’d love to try a small selection at some point, but I’m not in a rush. The oxide orange however is going on my most wanted list, it looks like a unique version of PR101 to me.

I have some colors from Isaro, rose is very pretty, Satine is very dark full strength like Indigo. I agree with you Stardust is very pretty; the sparkle is so fine, which I really like. Powdery pink is interesting, a muted pink but lovely as well. I was very limited to what I could order, many were out of stock. I was also able to order white, beige titanium and Isaro green light. I would be interested in more colors in the future.
I built a honey based watercolor palette with Sennelier and Isaro watercolors and I love them both equally 🥰🥰 I got their cerulean blue which is such a nice hue! Light green and mauve 💖 but definitely would love to try their pyroll deep red it looks so nice!

I love "out of sight out of mind"! I need to pour my tubes into pans!! I'd stopped using cadmiums many years ago when I painted mostly in oils. I never missed it. I don't use cadmiums in watercolor either as disposal must be taken to hazardous waste facility. Even if I am not eating them ;-) I would not want any sentient being to eat/be exposed to them either. I'm afraid so. There are many articles online about how to let the paint settle to the bottom of your jar for a couple of days, pour off the clean water, then wipe out the sediment and throw in your waste bin. As far as cadmiums I think the sediment needs to be placed in hazardous waste. I am sorry to be a negative nellie and did not mean to scare you, maybe just something to think about. I watched it last night but realized my post did not published. Isauro has beautiful colors, did not knew them. I’m not a big fan of opaque reds and yellows unless they are moody and granulating, otherwise I would probably have more than 2 cadmium’s. I’m more into cobalts for some reason. Cobalt teal light by Windsor and newton is my first and only rebuy of a same color so far. Because I have not finished any other. My second rebuy will be Permanent rose by Windsor and Newton because that one is almost over. I just can’t afford it now, I’m waiting for the end of the year.
I love light cobalt turquoise by W&N as well! It is opaque as well in mass tone, so I also use it for last touches. I don’t know Permanent Rose, now I’m curious! Thank you for your message Paulina.
Hello! Thank you so much. I often use Baohong, but this is a very very lovely sketchbook by Arteza. It’s cellulose but it behaves incredibly well; the link is in the description box.
Even if you did eat cadmium paint it wouldn't and cannot hurt you. There is more heavy metals in baby food. The human liver cares enzymes which isolate and remove heavy metals from the body. In order to ingest enough cadmium a human would have to eat gallons of cadmium paint which is humanly impossible. They'd puke before they could ingest it. So I agree with you 100%. Using cadmium paints is 100% safe.
I thought the main language spoken in Belgium was French… I just did an internet search and the three main languages spoken are Dutch, French, and German. 😊
There are 2 official languages, French and Flemish (a sort of Dutch). The 2 groups don’t mix much! Maybe there is also a German speaking minority but it’s basically a bilingual country. I have only driven through on my way to the Netherlands, but it must be wonderful!
