@@ryanmartin5456 I suggest you to read the manga. The manga is best. U20 vs blue lock panel is the best in manga. After this match you can continue if you want.
By the way it’s called a “Trivela” shot basically because you use your last 3 small toes from your foot to kick the ball and so making the curve happen, depending on the angle of course that you kick. Hence “Three” -> “Tri” from “Trivela” and “vela” translates to “sail” making it “3 sails” because the sail makes the sail boats curve on the sea. Just a fun fact 🙂 me being Brazilian myself.
carlie and angie next ep might 99% be you're fav ep of the season/blue lock, its a backstory is all am gonna say, we all know how much you love backstorys.
I've read the manga so I know what happens but watching reaction/commentary of someone who actually knows football somehow makes me get more out of these episodes 🔥 Can't wait to see their reaction to future episodes
I'm happy for you two to be able to have so much fun with those episodes, really wish I didn't have the awareness of how dirty the studio has done every single piece there is: the manga, Sae and his plays, and most of all the mangaka. Sae clutching the 2v1 was so fire in the manga and here he just puts some glue on his shoe, sticks the ball to it, hits a pose and suddenly he's past them. When I first saw the scene where he recruited Shidou, I was like "That man got aura". When I saw him play for the first time, I changed it to "He's got infinite aura". Right now when watching him I feel no such thing, and all the new drawings that were not directly based on the manga make me chuckle more than anything else because they make characters look ridiculous. Same problem with Chigiri's rush, if he's the fastest runner in whole of Bluelock then show it, instead they just put a few frames of him actually moving (it's crazy that a reused from s1 flashback scene had more of him running than this sequence)
What’s interesting about Sae is that I actually completely understand what he is trying to do and where he is coming from. Most reactors don’t like him because they are too focused on the way he says things and doesn’t actually listen to what he is saying. He’s a blunt Asshole but he’s right. He’s actually trying to play as a team right now, every time he gets the ball, he actually passes it to someone on U-20 to give them the opportunity to score, mainly Sendou because he’s the Striker, the spot that the Blue Lock players are all fighting for is Sendou’s position, so he should be the main one fighting the hardest and overshadowing everyone on the field, and right now he’s the least valuable player. Sae has legit passed to him every time he has gotten the ball and Sendou has fumbled every time. I get Sae’s frustration because at the end of the day Sae has no stake in this game, all he’s getting out of it is a fat ass check, and then he’s going back to Spain. The U-20 team (especially Sendou) could lose their positions, so why is it that Sae is the one playing the best right now? In his mind he’s thinking “Why aren’t yall hungrier? Why aren’t yall greedier? Why didn’t yall come out here ready to show everyone what you’re about?” He’s also not really trying to make the game about him. Like they used his name and popularity to sponsor this game and the crowd and the commentators are making it all about him but Sae himself IS actually trying to allow for the U-20 to score and they just aren’t. He didn’t even hype up his goal that he made like Nagi and Rin did he simply just got disappointed that HE in fact had to shoot the goal when it should have been Sendou’s goal. He’s words may come out harsh and they do, and he may seem conceited, which I believe he is but every player is honestly, but he is actually trying to light a fire under U-20 asses. He’s a lot more complex than most reactors are perceiving him to be.
I don't disagree with you, a lot of what he's saying is right, but as has been mentioned, the Japan U20's are a defensive team, so firstly this ain't their regular playstyle. Also why there's been no spotlight on Chou or Kitsune so far. And yes, Sendou hasn't scored a goal. But all his shots have been on target so far. The control with Niko, where Blue Lock stole possession of the ball, was unavoidable. Maybe Sendou just isn't capable of fantastic control like Nagi, hence all he could while receiving that pass was a one touch. Just to be clear, I don't particularly like anyone on the U20's apart from Aiku, so this ain't Sendou glazing on anything. So yeah. In short, while Sae is right about some things, he's a monumental asshole and a defective human being, period.
The guy is shit, Ange is putting writing aside and judging his personality which is actually horrible. He is yet to even see the worst part about Sae, during their backstory he is the worst person ever to a point where reason for his personality matters not anymore, I for now never liked Sae when hes not playing football ,he completely disgusts me. Its a situation like Ness where his personality has a reason behind it ,but still irritating
