When Sae lifted the ball into the air like a ballerina, the animators were just fumbling harder than the U-20 striker. That move wasn't even in the manga.

Love that u guys were also feeling weird about the Sae dribblingh through bachira and isagi at 12:50 because yup,thats definitely the animation that was just horrible and its just make no sense,in the manga its very clear and even more beautiful lmao they did him dirty
Its not the animation but lack of animation which made it feel bad. Actually skipped frames the manga made it way easier to follow for this one portion. Which does suck other than that this episode kept up the hype
It looked so rushed and incomplete
I never complained this season about animation, cus even tho it was choppy i could still understand what was going on. I couldn't comprehend that dribble at all so this was probably the worst part of the whole season.

If it helps you guys out. Let me explain that weird “technique” Itoshi Sae made against Isagi and Bachira.
What happened was, he basically immediately did a feint to his right when cornered to deceive them, and immediately spun the ball back around in between them once they let their guards down, it’s (once again) an anime issue that would have worked if they added in frames for smoother transition and actual landing, in the manga he clearly did a spin with the ball landing on the ground and he wasn’t flying like he did in the anime. 😅
I hope this helps anyone wondering.

Ngl Ego knew how bad the U20s are and thats why hes been saying that they already have the skill to destroy Japanese football at the end of S1. Sae himself is a game changer but he can only do so much. The best striker in the U20s team is from Blue Lock !
