- How is the 2.0L 4 cylinder in the Jeep Wrangler? Was it a bad choice?
Todays video goes in depth with the all new 4 cylinder 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara! This SUV has more technology features compared to the JK, like proximity sensors, back up camera and a larger center screen! Combined with the versatility of removing the doors, roof and a good amount of storage space, this SUV is one of the most capable offroad vehicles to be made! The interior is full leather, and the dash set up is very easy and laid out well. The 4 cylinder engine does not disappoint and gets great mpg! I love this style hardtop with the retractable roof, it is definitely nice to just push one button for the operation!

I got a brand new fully loaded 2019 rubicon for 51k. With the one touch sun roof. I highly recommend this option if you do not have a garage and live in an apt. The sunroof is bad ass. I had a saraha on order it that was 54k. Got a great deal on the rubicon.

My experience owning one so far...
Every ad, pamphlet, sales literature and even the sales pitch at the dealership revolve around it's off road capabilities. Yet doing things I did on a weekend basis with my 20 year old Wrangler TJ Sahara caused the yolk on the front inner axle to fail, taking out a ball joint and snapped an ear off of the now cheap aluminum steering knuckle. All on a brand new 2019 Wrangler JL Rubicon!
First they tried to brush me off due to evidence of mud under the vehicle (for real?). The argument quickly escalated that I possibly hit something despite 0 damage on any other components. They wouldn't say I did hit something for sure, but since it was a possibility... they had an argument. It was also a possibility a part failed... just saying. When making it clear I couldn't be without a vehicle any longer and that I have to get it fixed, I asked if it needed anything else. They didn't know, as they didn't inspect it. They just saw it was broke and dirty and essentially just said nope unless I paid up. I was told they could see if anything aside from what they could see by looking behind the tire was broke, but I'd have to pay for a full inspection. At one point I was given the option to pay in "advance" to speed up the repairs and if the warranty kicked in, I'd be reimbursed. Ya, right...
Being jerked around between the dealership and customer service, I took my jeep elsewhere to get fixed. Doing so apparently waived my right to complain anymore or receive compensation. But after 2 weeks of being without a vehicle... it had to be done. It turned into 3 weeks after everything was said and done.
That's what 60k buys you!
I've posted this a few times on Jeeps facebook page. Which are all deleted and I am blocked now from commenting. Guess your only allowed to tell people to go ahead and void your warranty work, it's fun!
Thats not what 60k buys you. Its just the place you bought it from or the service wherever you took it was god awful. Never had problems with my sahara 2019, and the service has been great or normal whenever i take it in for a check up. And i live in Mexico Sinaloa. I go to the dunes almost every thursday with my buddies and the jeep has just been amazing along with using it in the city. 3 sahara ive owned and so far its the car i trust the most.
I’m sorry that was your experience. That can really ruin your perception of the brand of a vehicle. It’s definitely happened to me and the BMW brand. It sucks.

I had a 2007 and a 2012 JK on 35 inch tires with a 3 1/2 inch lift and never experienced death wobble (glad I never did) . Just upgraded to the JL and it drives amazing.

For daily and weekend warrior off roading
That is a tough one. I love my offroad, but obviously a wrangler is more purpose built for off the pavement. Honestly just whichever one you like better. My tacoma does great offroad for what I do, but I like that the doors can come off and the roof option on the wrangler. It's definitely nice...tough choice if I was looking at them both together on the lot.
I'm also looking at a tacoma trd offroad and a jeep wrangler jk dont know what to get yet

i have this jeep and i be ZOOMIN when i press on the gas. thats saying a lot cause my first car was a camaro ss. the tires are not fun tho, even a little drizzle will have me sliding. as well as its super lightweight so when its windy outside my car starts to be pushed off the road

Yes that works with the apple car play/android auto, you do have to use a cord though, I don't think it's wireless.

My wrangler Sahara unlimited doesn’t have automatic windows, proximity unlock, keyless unlock, or blind spot radar or leather seats. Does anyone know why? Is that just something that varies from model to model? I thought that was something that was supposed to come with that trim level. Any input on this?
When the newer jeeps like 2018-2020 when you make a fast sharp turn with the Jeep will it flip over. This is the biggest thing my parents are worried about if I got one and this is my dream car! I just want to know to show that these newer jeeps can be safe!
Really good review. I wasn't planning on watching more than ten minutes max. I remember a few years back when I listed six things that Jeep could change or incorporate into the Wranglers to make them overall better and to also gain even more buyers. I see that the 2019 Wrangler has incorporated one of these things-- the backup camera. Is Jeep incorporating any of the remaining five in future Wranglers? Here they are:
1. *More and brighter interior lighting.* I don't own a Wrangler yet, but I've heard people complain about poor cabin lighting.
2. *Reclining bench seat.* Especially on long trips, passengers are eventually going to want to recline. It looks like only the front passengers have that option.
3. *Sliding bench seat.* With all the space in the back, and since the front seats can do it, the bench seat should have tracks they can slide back on at least a foot.
4. *Chrome handles/latches.* Wrangler wants to remain 'authentic' with the hard plastic handles/latches, but the fact is that not only would chrome ones look better (and they _are_ still waterproof) but they would definitely attract a lot more buyers.
5. *Fuel economy.* Of course, this is everyone's favorite but I guess no one is complaining loud enough. Better fuel economy would mean more buyers.
Chrome has no place on a jeep. If you want better fuel economy buy a prius.
