About a year ago there was a very bad storm that came through and destroyed some of the park. At 8:07 you can see a walkway. It used to go further down towards the boardwalk but was destroyed in that storm. Several other things were knocked over or destroyed as well.
I did some research before I went and saw several pictures of the boardwalk and the plane ride when they were in better shape. It's a shame that these ruins can't be preserved in some way. Thank you for watching.
Fascinating video. I go for walks in that area pretty often. It's interesting how much of what you pointed out has disappeared even in the 3 years since the video!
Thanks for the update. It's a shame that some portions can't be preserved in park form. I'll have to visit again to see what it's like today. Thanks for watching !
@@photoghiking I was thinking to add a new interesting dimension to your videos/channel, you could mix in reviews while you're on your adventures ie. reviewing your drone, ND filters you use on it, your dslr, lenses, hiking shoes and misc hiking helpers to keep bugs away or flashlights etc. Perhaps even add affiliate links so you could get a commission for the recommendation if someone buys it, and then down the road maybe even sponsors. Just a thought, keep shooting!
Thank you for the advice. I am always interested in new directions that can broaden the appeal of this channel and of course attract more subscribers. I will try a few of your ideas and see where it goes.

Nice find.
The site was suggested to me by one of my subscribers. It's a great site to explore the amusement park that once was there. Thanks for watching.

Excellent video! I live so close to Fort Erie yet I’ve never been to these remnants of the park, it’s nice to see them through your great video!♥️
Thanks for watching ! It's a really interesting site to visit, even today.
very interesting video - thanks
A really interesting location and a shame it can't be restored in some meaningful way. Thanks for watching !
