Try heating up the end of an old screwdriver, and then just melt your holes in the plastic, helps avoid cracks.

Different states have different laws, to the best of my knowledge NSW is 20 poddy mullet per person, a poddy mullet is classed up to 15cm in length

Give it a go, I think I've seen Roger Osborne use the bowl and flyscreen trap with good success
