I think you are absolutely right! Nintendo definitely knows what’s going on. They are allowing these leaks to happen. It shows the ingenuity of there fans. It’s almost like solving a dungeon in a Zelda game. They’re probably sitting back, having a laugh. It’s a great form of marketing! Not having to spend a dime. Getting the fans super stoked and crazy, finally releasing the system and revealing stuff that we could never even think about! Nintendo can’t stop the leaks, why bother? It will definitely come out next year, sometime 🤣 I think Metroid will be a big driving force game! The previews of this game looks beautiful. The colour is amazing!
Honestly it has me less excited. At this point...just announce the darn thing. Whether they are intentionally letting this stuff get leaked or just doing a horrible job keeping a lid on the console, I think it's time to get something official out there. Let's officially see the thing, hear what games are coming at launch, and get the price. I suppose if Nintendo drags this out until the day they plan to launch it we can get all of that leaked too. But it's a better Switch. I'm less excited about how it looks and would rather just move on to waiting for it to come out.
I think I'm with you at this point, especially with the new full video leaks showcasing pretty much everything it's going to be. I'm guessing Nintendo is letting it happen at this point, otherwise they'd be striking down these videos and suing all the companies leaking the info. I'm most interested in the price and the games as well. Can't wait until we actually get to know when it releases.
January announcement feels right, but the real uncertainty is in the release date. I would love it if they were hyper aggressive with the rollout, announcing it early January and releasing it early February, but I think March or April is more likely.
I think they've pretty well figured it out over the last few years with magsafe tech and such. I'd imagine having them on the side of the console makes it easier to manage. I'm super interested to see how it works!
Never owned a modern Apple device, eh? ^^ So long as they're using Static RAM instead of Dynamic RAM (And who the heck uses Dynamic RAM in 2024 besides PC guys?) , they can slap as many magnets on that baby as they wanna.
The video from DBrand shows an actual Switch 2 in the case, which was confirmed by them. Unless they have a surprise peripheral, we know exactly what it looks like.
It seems very probable they will want to get it off the ground soon so it's about picking the right time but anytime past early January would make sense to me. As soon as they can but I can't wait haha.
