The edging really elevates that nice simple sweater you made. As an Occupational Therapist, I want to commend you on recognizing the symptoms of pain, and taking steps to reduce it. If you fight through the pain, you will make it worse. It sounded a bit like you were getting Epicondylitis (tennis elbow). That is a repetitive use injury. I enjoy these 24 hour challenges, but it takes a toll on the body.
Yeah there’s definitely a difference between the yoke and the rest of the top haha but I wanted both variations of my hand dyed yarn to be in the finished top, so I don’t mind!
The edges definitely make a crochet piece look so much more 'finished' and professional/skillful, in my opinion. plus the picot (is that what it is?) is super duper cute, I say keep it!! Also the yarn is beautiful!
I love the detail on the borders actually! Also, random question but where did you get that bookshelf with the fold-out table you keep your knitting machines on??
Thank you! It’s the Ivar set from IKEA! Kind of a pain to build and I put a polyurethane stain on it before building, but I absolutely love it!! It’s a game changer for a small workspace
It's really cute! i think the detail edges is what makes the top look so good, so you should definitely keep it!

No! it turned out so lovely, the details on the edging is what makes it!! you smashed it
Thank you so much! I’m absolutely keeping the edge on the top now 🥰
Love it, not sure if its me, but i can clearly see a colour change in it, but i guess that's the nature of hand dyed yarn
