Hi Kristin 🤗 Next time you make pasta, save some of the water you boiled it in. I usually scoop up a cup and a half or so, to use to stretch the sauce if if looks too dry. It has the salt seasoning you added to the water and the starch from the pasta. It will make your pasta sauce looser and creamier.😉👍🏻

I make a similar beef pasta but mine is one pot or skillet. It’s just 1 bag of egg noodles, 1 32oz container of low sodium beef broth, 1lb ground beef(the leaner the better), salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder and about 2 spoonfuls of sour cream. Just brown the ground beef, add everything else to except the sour cream and simmer till pasta is cooked through(you might have to add a touch of water if needed) turn off heat and add sour cream then taste for salt. This was a “it’s the end of my grocery period, let’s make what we can with what we have” meal. It turned out so good!

You should try making breakfast food with Gouda! I like to use scrambled eggs, Johnsonville ground breakfast sausage, sweet potatoes & Gouda together. I usually cut the sweet potatoes into little pieces (like you would regular breakfast potatoes) and then cook them in a cast iron skillet…adding in the sausage to cook 1/2 way through. Make it into a burrito or a frittata. 🤤 so yummy
I like to watch your videos but I wonder why you never use fresh products, always frozen it’s a pity. Any healthy foods you cook? There is so much! Especially with kids and you seen like you have little portions with packet food

For the smoked gouda different brands can be strong than other ones, some texture wise are creamier while others are firmer. The potato ham bake looks good, we make something similar with turkey ham since we can't eat pork (borderline allergic to it). When it comes to making the pizza again, could you have the kids make & top their own personal size pizzas as something fun and different for them?

Kristin, Kristin, Kristin you have to get a better brand of Smoked Gouda! OMG gouda is one of the best cheeses in the world. Now there is a different taste between gouda and smoked gouda. Smoked gouda will have you thinking your eating meat...LOL Trader Joe's has a wonderful Smoked Gouda, please give it another chance...

Of course the packet is not poison it is silica gel. It is commonly used for cat litter today and my cat loves it. I also put it inside of packages of food I vacuum seal for long term meaning SHE meaning The pioneer woman does not make any of her stuff!! She is backed by a company that does the design and manufacture of everything she is a creation of television end of story!
I love your videos. You must love mustard cause that was A lot in that chicken salad I do like a quarter sized dollop in mine lol everything else is the same lol!!

Not sure if you're familiar with Mercari &/or Poshmark but if you are there are some available there, too. I would give it a try but I would get a small piece from a deli if you can or you can use baby bells they have a smoked gouda. I've never heard of the brand you showed. You should try making taco pasta!! Shell noodles Ground beef Taco seasoning Salsa Cilantro Cheese After all ingredients combined put in cake pan and cover with cheese and bake until cheese is melted!
I've never heard of mustard and relish in chicken salad..but I'm going to have to try it now because that looked delicious! Also, I don't like smoked gouda either..it has a weird texture and taste to me..for the bbq chicken pizza try smoked cheddar next time..it goes really well with the bbq sauce!
I absolutely LOVE smoked gouda! There is a brand called Apple Smoked that makes smoked gouda with apple and hardwood and it's delicious. They make other kinds of cheese, too, that are pretty good. Weird, cause it's a cheaper brand, too!
Make that bbq chicken pizza again for you and your husband if you guys likes it so much, and do a plain cheese for your kids! Leftover pizza always makes a great lunch

A diced gala or Fuji apple is yummy in chicken salad.

If you like spicy, try Boar’s Head Chipotle Gouda! It has a nice kick but a really good flavor!
