Love the videos! Keep up the great work, thanks for the giveaway. Good luck to everyone in it. Foundations is such a fun set so far, did not get in my prerelease though. I went to my local LGS and they gave me a free starter deck, it was all downhill since then, jk but also not really!
Congrats you have been selected as our winner for the Foundations Bundle!!! Please shoot us an email at southern.sorcerymtg@gmail.com so we can get everything verified 🎉🎉🎉
My best friend got me into this a fev weeks ago. I even was in a learn to play event last weekend where I got a free deck so that was hype. Know I am trying to get my wife in to the game so this would be perfect for us to share.
Back in middle school I had an online friend who I went all the way from my home in Alaska to New Mexico to meet and hangout with, while there he taught me mtg by bringing me into a local draft tournament. It’s been like 8 years since then and I only really got serious about it in Bloomburrow so I still feel new!
My local hobby store owner invited me to sit down and try a game of Magic using the basic white/green starter deck a couple months ago and it was fun! So I started by grabbing a preconstructed Commander format deck called Divine Charge and it's a blast to play! Now I'm looking to construct my first commander deck from scratch.
I got in to MTG back before Fallen Empires was out. My older cousin was playing and a big fan, and took me to a local shop one night. I was hooked from there. I am 45 now, and still going strong.
I started playing online when my best friend moved away, he told me about this steam game and we started playing there, i then started learning commander and bought my own deck to go and surprise him, and now Im starting to join a bit deeper in the community and meeting new people
Aye congrats on ambassador! I was introduced to mtg when dmg on the stack and manaburn was still a thing but didn't really play play until ravnica block. And then didn't really get back into it until friends got into edh and I bought the wizard precon with inalla. Not gonna like it's very rough to keep up with all the new stuff so it's nice that foundation is around for awhile
Congratulations on becoming MTG Ambassadors! I played revised/dark through stronghold, 10-year Dark ages, started up again with M10. Play exclusively EDH, Pauper Commander and pre-leases these days. Thought it already subscribed, well I am now
I got into magic around the time Khans of Tarkir released because my dad used to play it, and I played with my friends in high school like every day! My hydras deck was feared by all...
Got into Magic with my son when he was like 13, just after Hour of Devastation. We play Commander and go to prerelease together still every week at our LGS.
The beginner box from this one reminds me so much of the 5th Edition starter box that got me and my brother both started playing way back in the day. I still have my copy of Abbey Gargoyles for that box, won't ever let it go. So glad to see a product with that vibe on the shelves now.
I played a couple of years like ten years ago. But actually it was like almost 30 years ago when I saw people playing Magic at this really cool place called "Tierra Media" (Middle Earth) and I always wanted to get to illustrate a card. Sadly I didnt went to get my dream fullfilled. I though the game was from back from the 70s, If I knew at that time that MAGIC was kinda new at that time I would propably made everithing possible to get to work for wizzards.
Congrats on the ambassador ship. Got into the game because a friend, Steve, got me in. We played for like 3 hours not knowing any rules. Hooked ever since.
My brother in law got me into magic when I was a teenager, then I collected for many years. Then when I met my wife I sold my cards to pay for a down payment on our first home, but then many years later a great friend of mine got me back into it over a Christmas commander game.
My Older Sister and My Brother-in-law, they introduced me to MTG, eventually me and my bro got into it via Commander using the 2017 Eminence Precons, my deck was wizards, and my brother had dragons
I got into MTG (and TCG's in general) during MOM and AWBO. This was actually one of the first channels I followed because the game is so hard to understand with all the mechanics and rules that I found it easier to understand when y'all explained why you liked certain cards for certain decks. Way easier to understand than trying to memorize every situation where someone can play something based on a higher skill level like a lot of other channels I saw were doing. Oh, and for sure it was the artwork on the Elesh Norn cards!
honestly i was heavy against TCGs but my friend sneakily got me a 40k nercons deck that i love so much. it was a perfect way to get me into mtg since i was a massive 40k fan
I got into iy all the way in Ice Age, the artwork caught my attention and since I was never interested in the other common CCGs at the time, Magic stood out. Played it for years until my control freak mother tossed my entire collection. Stop playing for a while now Im trying to start ovet again
Hey guys, keep up the good work! Its been awesome seeing your guys journey into becoming ambassadors!! I got into magic from my friend, she urged me to try it so I bought a couple precons and ended up hooked! Can't wait to see how your journey progresses even further as content creators :) great video by the way, and some great pulls! -- Laufeyson
Congrats on becoming ambassadors! I love foundations already. The awesome artworks of wizards and weird creatures is what originally got me into magic so I'm glad to see the "classic" flavor of cards making a comeback.
As a kid I was always intrigued by TCG's and I drew cards of my own characters with points on them without even having a game for it. Then a few years ago I got into 1000 Blank White Cards, a fun creative DIY card game where the players make cards on the spot. It led me to "research" what effects and rule systems popular TCG's use. After learning the rules of Pokémon, Lorcana and Magic, I randomly downloaded Arena and soon wanted to play for real with friends. Got some old cards from my brother-in-law, bought some more, converted enough friends, and now I kinda can't stop playing! :)
What got me into Magic The Gathering? My older half sister. She played and made me a blue green wall deck long ago. Now i'm trying to get my half brother into Magic.
My sister played magic and when I moved in with her we use to play with her husband and his friends (they never let me win 😢😂) but honestly I didn’t get real invested til I met my boyfriend and we got into it together and are hoping to start a collection from foundation and onwards!!❤
My son got me into magic a few months before Commander Legends. Tried a few of the 60 card formats, the last being brawl and there still wasn't enough variance for me and I found commander and was off to the races. Commander is the only format I've played since along with some variants like Planechase and Archenemy.
I used to play Pokemon & yugioh back in early 2000's as a kid. During my parents divorce, I lost them all. Wasn't up until a 3 years ago, that our neighbors invited us to come play some games. So began my fiancée's and mine collecting and deck building. (PraetorianHeir)
When I was a kid, an older kid in the neighborhood had moved in and I remember him showing me Magic. We only ever played a game, probably not correctly even for 4th Edition rules, and he moved on really fast, but my love for this game never did 🧐
My sister's boyfriend now brother in law got me into magic by getting the Ur-Dragon Precon when it came out and because my sister told him that I like dragons. I dropped out for years and recently got back.
I went into my local LGS to get some warhammer and seen the people there playing mtg and a couple nights later attended Friday night magic, I was hooked up until about December 2012 when I got robbed on the way home from FNM and he stole my cards, I just lost my drive for it and joined the army in 2013 but I started playing again about 4 years ago

My best friend got me into the game back in Strixhaven! Still play lots to this day and I love those sparkly dice that come in the bundles!

My brother got me into magic with the good ol' 7th Edition starter decks with the CD. Gold v Silver🎉
Congrats on the wotc hook up! I got into Magic when Fallout dropped and went to my first prerelease this last Friday, was pretty fun!
Always loved card games, and when my friends started play magic again 2 years ago, i bought my precon and we played toghter ever since.
love foundations! was introduced into the game with a couple of friends and we still play it every other month during gatherings

I first started playing with my friend, back around when Prophecy was the new set. Took a long break and came back with neon dynasty
Aye congrats on ambassador! I was introduced to mtg when dmg on the stack and manaburn was still a thing but didn't really play play until ravnica block. I was introduced to Magic by a friend this year and it's been Magic 24/7 ever since!!!

I got into magic around the time Khans of Tarkir released because my dad used to play it, and I played with my friends in high school like every day! My hydras deck was feared by all...
Foundations looks so cool!
I love the mix of throw back cards and new stuff!
My dad got me in know I am the one teaching my kids. So this would be good for them.
Got into Magic with my son when he was like 13, just after Hour of Devastation. We play Commander and go to prerelease together still every week at our LGS.

I always enjoy the bundles. I love the variety you get outside of the cards, especially the dice
i was introduced by my brothers and i just play casually with friends and family! pretty fun to play and see how the game evolves through the years
I got into it when the Unglued set came out
Congrats on the ambassador ship. Got into the game because a friend, Steve, got me in. We played for like 3 hours not knowing any rules. Hooked ever since.
Recommended by a friend many years ago. Played my first game at a con and it got me hooked🎉

Very well made set. Finally feels like a Magic set again
Foundation has been really fun so far
Foundations is a great set, I love the cards and the full art lands!

Oh, and for sure it was the artwork on the Elesh Norn cards!
Sam Philliber got me into magic some years ago and we’d just hang out in the dining room and play magic for hours!
Congratulations on the new status. You guys are amazing

Tbh I was bored my friends all played since they were kids and I got hooked!

This set is bonkers!

Congratulations 🎉
What got me into Magic The Gathering? My wife did! She played while at work with some other people on her shift, and taught me how to play.
I started playing from tempest and left it in invasion, then I started playing from origins again and I haven't stopped anymore

On a side note did you ever run the giveaway for the duskmourn commander decks?
yes, we have commented the winners and are waiting on responses.
Foundations is the return of core set, right?
Yeah with a twist of it hanging around in rotation longer than a core set would
is it worldwide?
I kinda wanted to stop buying booster packs but you're making it difficult :(
2nd comment but 1st like!!
