Outstanding, totally outstanding! An epic in il-2 combat simulation. A new chapter has started, frontal attacks by AI, bomber formations that work as planned, realistic graphics, and crew work second to none. Absolutely love your nose art! I'm late to the party but the jarring silence at the end with no movement was a thing. War doesn't care how close to home you are, you're not done gambling until the ride is done. Sobering
I don't think they would pack a punch, The gun posts were designed to bring down fighters not heavy bombers. But I suppose fighter escorts may have contributed to shooting down friendlies.
i Couldnt imagine how scarred i would be stepping into a plane and finding only dead bodies where living people once where, and to wonder how horrifying their last moments must have been.
In real life the bombardier would have been in his crash location in the middle of the bomber, not in the nose turret seat. So he would probably have survived. Pilot and co-pilot survived the initial ground collision which would have been the worst. But for some reason when they go through the tree line they both die. Obviously the pilot was already in grave condition but was anything wrong with the co pilot?
It's a replay bug. In the real mission, the entire front section broke off and was crushed. We are aware of crews being in the center of the fuselage for takeoff and landing, but it's not a feature the game has.
Was it only the Left waist gunner that survived? That was Brilliant! Just goes to show that Boeing made virtually indestructible Ships and could take a heck of a bashing. Same could be said about the crew only they are made of jelly! 🤣🤣
Great vid once again! Is the zonk mod ready for use or still under development? Love to see a P39 PTO mission at some point and RAAF over New Guinea, couple of P40s/ Beaufighters even some Beauforts 👍
Hey, after watching your videos I got the game, im super pumped to play the b29's and b17's, but when trying to install the SAS Mod loader, it makes the game unable to launch, i have tried for countless hours, and now days to get it work, and nothing is working, any tips?

this video is a testament of how difficult to shoot down a fighter with onboard machine guns. but AI gunners are ridiculously accurate.
The engine that kept working at the end blended perfectly with the silence and the overall scene.

Too and humans are so soft and squishy.
That was an impressive, emotional, ending…(almost felt like a tribute to lost bomber crews)..
