    My dad bought this set in 1974 and handed it down to me in 1985 when I was in high school. It is the only set I’ve had. This was so satisfying to watch. Amazing job! And thanks for sharing.

      That's awesome! These were really fun to do! If I find another set for a good price again may do another one!

    Years ago, someone brought that club set home and thought..."how beautiful my new clubs are!". Well done, sir!

    Turned out super nice! there is something super satisfying about the matte finish of the grooves and the shiny finish of the rest of it!

      Very Cool! And for sure they are definitely little butter knives. But they are gorgeous classics! Actually currently working to complete the set soon!

      I have this set also as a hand-me-down from my dads best friend. They look exactly like the before part of this video 😂 I’ve been playing with these tiny blades for the past year , and finally am about to replace them a new set this week. I was thinking about taking them somewhere and trading them even if they’re $15 all together 😭😂 but watching this video makes me wanna keep them and maybe also get them restored someday!!! The 2 iron is insane how thin it is

    Now that is impressive. My grandpa owned the AC-108s. Now I own them. I don't suppose you want to restore another set of AC-108s?

      Unfortunately, I'm not really set up to do irons efficiently for people. But if you can, send some pics I'd love to assess them and take a look.

    Looks amazing. Any idea if these clubs were caster or forged?

      I dont know for certain, but I'm assuming since they are stainless steel, they are cast.

    Awesome! I have an old set of my dad’s. How much would you charge to refinish a full set?

      Thanks! But I just did this set for myself to tinker with. I don't offer iron restoration.

    What grinding/polishing wheels do you use?

    • @igolf906
      @igolf906  2 роки тому +1

      For getting the nicks and dings out I had Convolute wheels. For buffing wheels, I believe they are just spiral sewn wheels.
