- My first walk up Llyn y Fan Fach did not dissapoint.
Use this postcode for the Llyn y Fan Fach car park: Llanddeusant SA19 9UN
The lake comes with a mythical story - remember to watch the video until the end to hear it.
Llyn y Fan Fach is a lake of approximately 10 hectares on the northern margin of the Black Mountain in Carmarthenshire, South Wales and lying within the Brecon Beacons National Park.
Next time I'll head up to Llyn y Fan Fawr too!
Keep up with the adventures here:

Fab 👌 U are good at this 😉
Just came back from snow top Pen y Fan mountain, now I want to go to this mountain. Thanks for sharing.
It's not a fish farm but a hatchery for salmon and brown trout to try and re-stock our rivers. Wild brown trout and especially Salmon are disappearing from Welsh rivers and that is a reason if a salmon is caught it has to be put back in the river.
Every day is a school day! Thank you for sharing your knowledge :)
Hope you had a good time Emms
Thank you! I'll take you next time 😊
Really injoyed this vid im off to do the same walk today with a mate can't wait 😊
Great video. Doing this. Inspired.
Let me know how it goes 🙌
@@Empire92online will do, I’m going to take a tent though and camp it. Did you ever find Lyn y Fan Fawr?
Not yet! But it's on the list. The weather has been awful for it to be honest and I deffo want those views!
Well done.
Wonderful video, the views are amazing.
Thank you! I have to go back because I didn't get much time with the drone because of the wind - next time I will be better prepared! 😁
Great video. You are an enchanting presenter. Yanks also for the explanation of the place names. I do my best but never seem to do them justice. 🙂👍
Thank you so much
Excellent, well made, I enjoyed it, I’m going next week to see for myself how spectacular those cliffs are
Amazing! Enjoy 😍
This is a place I was thinking of going for a walk and now I definitely am!! Looks amazing
Yes definitely go! It's beautiful
Amazing video as always, views are spectacular and love the drone footage.
Storytime was a great touch also.
Looking forward to heading back there at some point.
You need a drone!! I also feel like we should have a shared Google doc with adventure ideas 😆
@@Empire92online Haha, that would be great as my Maps app is just full of pinned places to visit, and is getting hard to read 🤣
There are so many wonderful places in Wales to explore!
Such a beautiful place, definitely will be visiting soon, thanks for sharing 😎
Thank you for watching! 😍🙌
That looks stunning!! Keep up the great work on your channel! :)
Thank you, more vids on the way 🙌

Definitely 😊👍
I love this video. I am doing a winter hike clockwise way next week.
Quality! Let me know how it goes, I still haven't got around to it
@@Empire92online do it. Give me a wave if you see me there😁
I'll wave at every single person I see just to make sure if you're there you get one haha
@@Empire92online 😁
Those water tanks you were asking about are actually a fish farm. I have seen fish jumping around in them in the past.
I love the drone footage on your recent videos by the way, I'm amazed you could fly it in those winds!
I thought it may have been but I wasn't 100% and there were no fish in them so I thought I was being silly😅
Yeah the drone is my favourite toy ever, I was lucky I had a window of opportunity with the wind (even if it meant I had to beeline it up the hill!)
looks like its a fish farm, the pile of bricks is the summit. reminds me of the film "the gentlemen who went up a hill, but came down a mountain".
I've never seen that film, I'll look it up :)
@@Empire92online sorry its called the englishman who went up a hill, but came down a mountain
Hi love your videos, such majestic footage. Amazing. BtW what make model of drone do you use, thinking of investing in one. Thanks
Aww thank you! It's a DJI Mini 2 - I love it :)
Llyn Y Fan Fach is one of my favourite places in the UK, the landscape is just incredible, and the story that goes with it is such a cool story
Yeah I think it's one of my favourites now too! Can't believe I had never been before, now I can't wait to go back
@@Empire92online Neither can we, hopefully soon! We want to try and get a wild camp there!
Doing this on Sunday, going via Llyn y Fan Fawr.
Awesome! Let me know how it goes. Next time I'll definitely visit Llyn y Fan Fawr too 😍
