Great video, as usual. The way you are gradually getting better and better, and generally more creative, with duels is a treat to watch. I see, out of the 3 options (bring Starkiller down to earth, have a middle ground, or have Ahsoka be as wacky), you seem to have opted for the first.
Which, I do admit, I can't really begrudge you for or am suprised at, because JA is a rather grounded game in general, but still, I do profess being a bit disappointed, as I generally prefer the Force being potrayed in a more spectaular fashion, although not to the level TFU does, granted. Honestly, I was vaguely half-expecting at a few points for Galen to pick up the B-Wing and toss it, or bring down one of the big trees, but eh. More of a nitpick. And also as usual, the general 'theming' and context around the fight is excellent.
Though, one thing that I DID very distinctly notice isnt the norm, but I guess is becoming it (not that its a bad thing) is the AI voices. Very good overall, as is to be expected nowadays, but I do have to say the Ahsoka voice is obviously far too young for her age. I assume you couldnt get it to work satisfactorily enough with older-Ahsoka's voice? I also did notice, as constructive criticism, that Galen's voice sounded like he in was in a mask at certain points, which I found a bit odd and off-putting.
.....Also, where the hell did you find the old man Galen model and the map...?
As for the voices, I decided to go for direct rips of voice lines from other games (Galen from his ofc, Ahsoka from Lightsaber Battles for the Wii), I knew that Ahsoka’s be too young, but it sounded close so I kept it. Galen was just weird because he went from super loud to soft and it was always a hassle but I had the exact samples so I couldn’t do much about it.
As for the whole battle itself, I tried to show that Starkiller is incredibly out of practice; struggling to use even a second of Force Lightning, only managing to Repulse a small amount considering the TFU2 trailer. The one thing I wanted was for Starkiller to have completely mellowed out.
The Old General skin is in a MB2 skin pack in the description and the maps are on JKEmpire.
Don’t worry, in future videos I plan on making more spectacular Force displays. ;)
@@Gumegguai Ah, fair enough with the voices. I figured as much, although I wasn't expecting Lightsaber Battles, of all possible things, to be the original source. I haven't even thought of that game past occasionally using the JHD model.
Oh! Looking back at it now, and the way he's talking after using the brief burst of FL, I can see it now, yeah, although its definitely not something I caught at first. I was more thinking you were just depicting them as being near-equals normally and that the reason Galen sounded pressed and such was more out of that than being out of shape. And yeah, you definitely showed him as less....erm, scream-y and emotional, compared to his younger self, suffice to say.
Hm, I might go and get that model and map, because both look rather good, and its rare for me to see maps and models I don't at least vaguely recognize.

Unfortunately, there aren’t a lot of samples of Rosario Dawson without background noise or music, so I decided to play it safe and use samples that are guaranteed clean. :)

Her older Rebels tone would have been more fitting.

I hate to say this but Starkiller would be old General Starkiller in the Sequel Trilogy.
He would still be young or in his 30s at this time.
I mean, he was made only a few years after the original died and was fully grown not long after, so it's not a stretch to assume his accelerated aging doesn't stop.

Also, Eleven Labs is as simple as getting a video of voice lines, putting it through a converter like Audacity to be an mp3, then putting it in the website.
Ahsoka sounds too young for her age, but other than that, well done with the video.
Yea, I decided to go for exact samples of the voice actress as apposed to an older female voice that isn’t identical. It sounded the best to me, but I would’ve been real happy if there were some isolated samples of Rosario Dawson.

Another question for you, is there any way you can give an NPC dual wielding blasters? I know you can do it for whoever you play as but not sure how for an npc
Only way is to go into their .npc file and straight give them Jango’s dual pistols, and even then it’s been known to be pretty finicky.

I left that vague; either she is still active in the New Republic and they keep in touch, Starkiller isolates himself to control his rage, or she was unfortunately killed. Any one of those could be true.
