I would assume that fighting against Ahsoka had to be extremely annoying. Her chaotic movements & unorthodox reverse grip was always interesting to watch.
plus she runs and spaces almost every fight
Not to mention she has two blades you have to keep track of. It's almost like fighting Grievous if he were properly trained
Just imagine Grievous fighting her and slapping his four sabers at her like "why" slap "wont" slap "you" slap "hold" slap "still" slap "and" slap "die" annoyed slapping intensifies
@@Talvi_Sota Isn't that how he fights anyway
@@nicholasrolo886 normally he has some kind of system to it
I can't get over how good that duel between her and maul was in the last season of the clone wars. The animation is so on point, I'm guessing a lot of it was mo-capped, the movements are so fluid, almost like live-action, when you compare it to earlier seasons of the clone wars and rebels where it's more jerky and more cartoonish in a sense. So good.
yup, it's completely motion captured. Ray Park (Maul's actor in Episode 1) even returned for the motion capture.
I don’t like the lightsaber effects of it tho
There's a few moments where they have kill shots and just don't take em. 10:59 is real strange where it looks like Maul's saber just goes right through her leg, 11:09 when she rolls back and kicks him she is deflecting off the part in between mauls hands which makes no sense. Still a fun fight but animation isn't so "on point."
10:59 I think Maul orients his saber so the tip of the bottom blade is next to Ashoka’s legs before twisting the saber to parry with the top blade.
11:09 Looks like Ahsoka is kicking Maul’s chest/abdomen to send him through the glass.
That said, I found the end of the duel to be a little strange - since the strut is already cut, Maul could literally slash the strut in front of him, sending Ahsoka plummeting to her death instead of charging her. Rest of the fight was great
@@mysterion1899 maul is 1000% ACTIVELY TRYING TO NOT KILL AHSOKA there. Literally throughout the entire fight until the last few moments he’s trying to coerce her into joining him. He only actually is going to kill her after he says, “join me or die.”
That girl was an absolute menace to everyone of her enemies mental and physical health. Cuz not only was she skilled af to a point where fighting her is the most annoying thing ever, but also you always have in the back of your head that if you kill her, anikin will be chasing down your ass for real
Exactly lol! She was incredibly fast and a lot stronger than petite size would let you believe. her sporadic movements and mastery of force jumping makes her so hard to catch, and even if you did defeat or detain her... you'd have to face the wrath of anakin and/or kenobi. no bounty price would ever be worth that xD
@@gamer1X12 and sometimes there would be younglings coming after you
"Ahsoka curs off half of Vader's mask letting hin use his real voice and making her appeal to him"
The writers for kenobi:
ITS EVEN FUNNIER THE SECOND TIME!
I saw a post of someone interpret it as both of them only being able to get halfway through to Anakin and *both* of them combined being able to bring him back (hence the 2 different sides being cut off) and that honestly made the scenes so much more devastating for me :')
Well, I don’t necessarily think Obi Wan and Ahsoka were ever really able to get all the way through to anakin. They each cut open a different half of his mask, exposing half of his face. Anakin came out for a moment each time, but was overtaken by Vader. Luke is the only one who was able to completely get through to Anakin, hence why Anakin takes his whole mask off, revealing his entire face
Ahsoka cut off the right side of his mask while obi wan cut off the left. It's poetic in that each was only able to get halfway through to Anakin
Don't remind me.
Kenobi was before Rebels
It's interesting to see that Ahsoka didn't win most of her fights before leaving the order
She survived
Iled call that a win considring the jedi try to convince surender or disarm
She’s usually fighting some of the strongest enemies and somehow surviving, I mean she fought ventress 3 times, and grevious 2 times and even fought anakin and obi-wan once and freakin darth Vader and maul
when i was a kid i used to think ventress and ahsoka were equal enemies i don't remember ahsoka losing to her all the time
Okay but that’s also not fair she wasn’t wasn’t even a knight before leaving the order like they were gonna make her a knight I think before she left mace said something this being a great trial or whatever so it’s not fair to say she lost a lot when she wasn’t even Jedi that long after she left and got her new lightsabers and trained that’s when she become one of best surviving Jedis ever
I mean cmon dude the first half of clone wars was literally her training arc. she's built up her battle prowess over years worth of content. Keep in mind she's fighting some of the best saber duelists in all of the galaxy.... shes a padawan here, and a (gonna be honest) somewhat mediocre padawan at that. surviving a head on fight with the likes of greivous or ventress is a feat in of itself tbh.
Despite how young she was, Ahsoka was one of the few Jedi from the CW with actual lightsaber combat experience, especially for someone who wasn't a coucil member or Anakin.
Thats probably why she was able to toy with the inquisitors. They were used to hunting jedi with lottle to no practical training or experience, so she was on another level from what they were used to.
The inquisitors were made to hunt down former padawans, any jedi they'd actually come across they'd be humiliated beyond anything but that was the point, to draw them out and that's when vader would get involved
The fight between her and Vader breaks my heart everytime
Because they were brother and sister
If only Ahsoka just let Vizla get blown up by the jetpack, dark saber woulda been hers. She leaves the Jedi and rules Mandalore.
That is a what if I’d love to see
That would have been cool
God how I love Ahsoka, and all the character development she’s had throughout the series, fighting wise and mentally! So much depth!
nobody:
Nute Gunray: "open these doors and i'll buy you a planet!!"
LMAO HES SO FUNNY
@@sanjapercic7355frfr on skibbidi ahsoka cool like that 😎
One of Tom Kenny’s most underrated lines
She may not have won most of her fights, but she survived and that’s more than what other Jedi can say
she progresses throughoutly
look at her now, she’s obliterating everyone and eating Inquisitors on bread
I love the fact that Ahsoka knows that "Jocasta Nu" isn't actually Jocasta by her skill level but not the fact that she's moving incredibly fast compared to her normal, old age speed
TBF both Ahsoka and Yoda use the force to greatly enhance their speed, agility, and reaction times. So it's not uncommon for someone to seemingly be an elderly person, just vibing, and then they ignite their saber at move at mach fuck you.
Jocasta is actually a very skilled fighter as shown in one of the Vader comics. She and the grand inquisitor had a heart to heart…. And blade to blade
That transition from Ventress to Jocasta was smooth.
she went from getting bullied by early clone wars ventress and grievous to beating maul and surviving vader
She looked at Morgan like: “You’re not the first nightsister I’ve faced”
She just refuses to die. I love it.
Not a lot of jedi can say they’ve face Grievous TWICE and lived
You know after watching all of her fights, the only official one she had during the Clone Wars was with Maul. It was a formal duel, with a worthy opponent, whereas all her other duels were unofficial, her on the defense, or with someone else helping her
Ashoka duels are superb.
General grievous makes it grimly 😬 if you duel you.
ahsoka had the opportunity, had she chosen to do so, to kill vader. that strike to the mask was more-so with intent to confirm her suspicions that it was Anakin. she easily could’ve aimed the strike to behead him. Albeit, her means of killing vader were not through truly besting him but still, Ahsoka could’ve killed him y’all.
Makes sense, she had better training than Luke did when it came to fighting other lightsaber users, and she was constantly fighting during the clone wars just like Anakin, plus Anakin is severely crippled by his injuries on top of Ahsoka's fast fighting style.
If they fought 10 times, Ahsoka would probably win more than 3 times at least.
@@entropyOTDyeah not to mention Vader was significantly boosted in strength due to the temple. I feel like people really underestimate her physical strength too in the versus edits I see; she was able to hold a boosted Vader back in several saber locks during their duel.
Time to add Tales of a Jedi scenes! Toooooo good!!!
The animation in season 1 of Clone Wars was so stiff. They really improved!
I noticed that Ahsoka has a habit of disarming her opponents (the seventh sister, the unnamed inquisitor, maul, etc). Maul was a few seconds away from killing her, yet she diarmed him, and swiftly gained the upper hand.
maul one was not her maul defeated her so many times that duel. Maul was trying to convince her but when he ran out of time to talk he tried to kill her
yet he was panicing at that point and very frustated since he failed to convince her that anakin was gonna join dark side
she did it in episode 5 of her series as well with Anakin
Yea she’s good at hand to hand combat . She did the same to ANAKIN in Ahsoka
Good video ! Thank you !
0:34 like master like apprentice lol
13:28 Yeah she’s got it covered 😎
Notice the character development after EVERY single duel
I love Ahsoka! I should watch some Star Wars with ready for the Ahsoka series. I love watching her fight
Really loved that scene with “Jocasta Nu”
My favorite character
🔥 Amazing as always!
Can you make with Ahsoka?
well that was an amazing glow up for her
You should make a new compilation that includes Tales of the Jedi!
Ive never seen anyone use a force push so effectively besudes maybe Anakin
Having never watched the old animated shows, it threw me for a freaking loop when I saw the Darksaber from Mandolorian
The darksaber was originally from the clone wars.
Someone posted on threads insinuating recent characters were refiving unnecessary hate. Oke of thise cheracters on that list was rey palpatine. The poster was insinuating these fharacters were over hated simply becausw they were "strong female leads".
Rey Palpatine was s poorly written mary-sue. Ahsoka on the other hand, has various character arcs leading to profound character development. Ahsoka turne into a total badass, becoming one of the best duelers in the SW universe during her time. Ahsoka, ventress, these are strong female leads that are lovable, relatable, written with care, and as s result, are widely receieved with positive feedback!
The sequel movies are enjoyable if you turn your brain off and take it at face value. However, when you get to thinking whilst watching the sequel Trilogy, you start to realize a lof of issues with the SW universe continuity. issues with the writing. Like how Kylo ren, a force wielder and Duelist trained from his early teensge years, steuggles in a fight against Rey. Who had a mere few hours of light saber training. The fact that Rey even tagged Kylo in the first film, and Kylo didnt end the fight in less than a minute, proves that Reys character was a failed attempt at s strong female lead. Effectively being Mary-sued to advance the plot faster. Also, it made zero sense, which is one of the few reasons no one liked this, but why tf woukd Rey adopt the Skywalker name. Aside from not being worthy of it, she doesnt share the skywalker lineage. She was born of s nameless Jedi, and s decendant of Palpatine.
Open this door and I'll buy you a planet- Nute Gunray 2008
なんともまぁ素晴らしい動画である🎉
Can we talk about the foreshadowing of Barriss being an op since season 2, she was always suspicious 🤷🏾
Amazing👍👍👍
8:42 not Ahsoka being flatter than the ground
Hey do you guys think ahsoka decided to duel weild because of ventress? I feel like even though she could hold her own she did it as a safety precaution for future encounters.
why was she trying to murder the librarian haha
It wasn't actually jo Costa nu (the librarian) was a shape shifting bounty hunter imposter
It wasn't her, she was a bounty hunter like the one on attack of the clones
And then her style is completely different in the Ahsoka series. Kinda sad, imho. Yes, she's older now so won't be as agile, but to completely switch up her tailor-made reverse grip style to a more muted and precise reverse grip style was kinda sad.
TBF the limitation has more to do with it being live action vs animation. It's why I wish more Star Wars shows and movies were animated, because it allows for better fights.
tbh her shift in style also reflects her own maturity as she got older. Not quite as reckless, more refined and precise.
The whole animation thing is a lame excuse. The S7 duel was mocapped from real people so it is possible to achieve her style in live action
Best jedi

I love her
Nice 😁😍🤩👍17:22
Who mocapped ahsoka for the maul fight
They just ruined ahsoka in the live actions. Stance is way too up and they didn't teach enough swordplay to that actress. I would love to see her iconic stance very beginning of that live action.
Most of the changes come from rebels
Although i agree rosario could use more practice, ahsokas overall dueling changes gradually as she ages through TCW, Rebels, Tales of the Jedi and the Mandalorian. Her fight style in live action isn’t a sudden change, its a pretty natural progression from her animated counterparts.
unfortunately its hard to replicate her movements in live action do to the Jedi like level abilities of moving extremely fast and jumping incredibly high. She is really good at using the force to enhance her speed.
I think the issue has more to do with props and costumes.
Why do the Star Wars rebels lightsabers look like twigs
Its wich épisode ashoka vs anakin?
i can barely hear the fights mu pc is on max volume and im struggling to hear but other than that it is really good

XCOTHIiLl Really Really
❤
She started out so annoying and became such a badass
"Luke..did I ever tell you about Ahsoka Tano?.. barely legal in most systems. So *precious* , that the notorious separatist jedi slaughtering cyborg who never negotiated or spared a youngling.... simply wouldn't kill Ashoka on their first encounter. Even a monstrous machine with only a can of lungs, brain and eyes couldn't resist her. Due to the lack of cybernetic genitals he chose to toy with her instead the entire mission while your dad blew up the separatist station. She was a perfect piece of jailbait. Hell I think even that Vader would melt the second he saw her.....and she was a good friend"
I could beat assoaker in a fist fight even if she had her light saber
hate the live action crap
