Mistakes? Sometimes they are and stick out like a sore thumb. Same thing happens in music. But sometimes, mistakes take you to a place you didn’t even think of…and there is everything right with that. What does it matter where the inspiration comes from? Most never even realize an ‘error’, but the artist needs to get over it…lol

Oh wow thank you so that’s actually how I got started was just tumbling glass. I had no idea that I was going to be interested in crushed glass and broken glass and all that other kind of glass. It all started with one Tumbler LOL.

I do use grit, which I play around with and sand
You mean a giant cement mixer or is it the same size as my tumbler. Does it make it nice and rounded and smooth like the glass I have pictured? I could just see my husbands face If I brought home a big cement mixer. LOL Are you on the face book page. Do you think you could share a picture of the cement mixer and the glass I know a bunch of us would love to see it.

Dear Linda you are a very giving person and appreciate you so much! Being a painter challenged hand shaking person , I painted a piece on watercolor paper that came out pretty good , my question is do you think i could resin over it say on a glass frame?

So I dont think I understand the question. are you wanting to resin the paper with the painting on it then place the painting on the glass? Or are you wanting to place the painting on top of the glass with the perimeter of the glass around the edges showing. Are you wanting to put glass on the painting?
@@crazyglasslady I have already glued my glass in the frame like you do, now I want to know if I can just place my picture on that , pour resin over it and add some crushed glass on it . I could leave perimeter of glass or put right up to the frame which ever you think will work. Thank you for helping me
@@annakilbourn6362 not sure if you’re on our Facebook page too but there’s another lady asking the same question about pouring resin over a watercolor paper and everybody is suggesting that she seals the paper first like put a spray on it to make sure nothing runs. I don’t know I almost think it would look pretty if the perimeter of the glass showed around it I guess it just depends on what you think you could even put a little bit of crushed glass on the perimeter of the glass that showing, but I would definitely glue or resin the watercolor paper to the glass first. Otherwise you might get bubbles underneath that I remember my husband used to buy some kind of a spray to spray on the back of the paper when we were making the kids science projects when they were young, you would spray the paper and then adhere it to the science board. Does that make sense?

You put green colored uv resin on the bottom of the boat & then changed the color? Did you put more colored uv resin over the green using a different color?
One layer of UV resin after another LOL I still don't like the white I may try red any suggestions?
@@crazyglasslady I had UV resin but used it only twice & ended up giving it away. After seeing yours and others using the uv resin, I went out and bought another light & resin. Michael's had a good sale!! I like that you can "paint" it on over the epoxy resin. Haven't tried that. I like the sailboats white because they stand out against the blue water. Red might get lost against the blue. Silver might be pretty. Your things always turn out gorgeous. What a fun hobby!!
