actually in many good places (cafes with proper vegan menu) desserts and sweet things tastes even better than regular sweets and cakes. as well as mostly vegan sweets has waaayyyy more calories than regular ones because one of key ingredients are nuts, for example almond flour. :))) and a lot of treats has already been vegan.... they just havent been marketed like that :)))
