the seatbelt sensors have a problem. I have to keep two of my back seat belts buckled while no one is in the back! I recommend waiting for the 2023 model for all these issues to be corrected. other issues: the Bose system is basic, the backup camera is terrible quality for the model year, the auto high beam does a bad job detecting other traffic… the Bluetooth audio has a 3 to 5 second delay in playback.
@@Tenzin011 this car in the Touring trim is about $30k, and we are also in a new gen.. a lot of these issues were issues from past gens. They could of improved/fixed like the camera quality or the playback delay.

I just purchased my 9th civic, a 2023 Civic EX and what a vehicle. My only beef is the glove box has shrunk quite a bit in comparison to my old 2019, a small detail. I look forward to many carefree years of driving.
I wish reviewers would stay away from the touring models. Most folks are going to get the standard version if you do a ratio of touring to non touring. Jus sayin

Also there is no wireless connection to Apple car play and no wireless charging. As far as I can tell there is one driving mode so no sport and economy and one other. It’s still a great car but honestly the UA-cam reviews are useless to me because I lack 65% of the features they cover ugh

It did not roll back up with the key fob. To roll it back up you have to do what I did on the previous gen civic cool features video. I know some cars especially FCA allows me to lock the doors while the engine is running and it’s an amazing feature but sorry to say did not try it with this civic
@@TheStarwars2011 ikr, can't believe this easy feature is not available on every car. My Sentra 2010 had it, cannot believe 2021 Civic doesn't have it. Sometimes you'd need to step out of the car for a few secs and keep the engine on with doors locked for safety.

CLARIFY: in my civic 2022 it also takes a minute to recognize that someone is back there and has their seatbelt sometimes it doesn’t read it until I am driving

I have a 2009 Civic, which has controls a human can understand. The controls on the 2022 model are frightening. I'd expect that level of complexity in an airline cockpit. Just by the way, I'm a retired software engineer. I know better than to trust systems that complicated.
I still drive a manual 2002 civic with 300k miles, it's amazing to see how far technology has came along in 20 years!

Basically all that is included on the Toyota Avalon hybrid 2021, not to mention the Toyota has wayyy more space than the Honda

It did not roll back up with the key fob. To roll it back up you have to do what I did on the previous gen civic cool features video. I know some cars especially FCA allows me to lock the doors while the engine is running and it’s an amazing feature but sorry to say did not try it with this civic
