I have a 2002 with 200k, if it wasn't for the rough north winters this car would live much longer. Nothing wrong mechanically, just starting to rust

340,000 KM for me on my 2012. Just got in an accident so it's time for an 11th gen! Not a single issue outside of regular maintenance.

Just got a touring in the states and I ran out to my car when I saw the rear heated seats. Mine doesn't unfortunately.
I would see it more as a necessity.
Our sport version actually is a step up from the ex. Right under touring. We have sunroof, blind spot tech, USB in the back, heated seats, wheel etc lol. Just with the black glossy rims 😉

Love the Auto lock and brake hold function, glad it is still on the new model since I have these features on my 2017 Civic Ex-T.

the seatbelt sensors have a problem. I have to keep two of my back seat belts buckled while no one is in the back!
I recommend waiting for the 2023 model for all these issues to be corrected.
other issues: the Bose system is basic, the backup camera is terrible quality for the model year, the auto high beam does a bad job detecting other traffic… the Bluetooth audio has a 3 to 5 second delay in playback.

It’s a civic... so many other upgrades, there needs to be some downside lmao. Best you can get tbh at the price range.
@@Tenzin011 this car in the Touring trim is about $30k, and we are also in a new gen.. a lot of these issues were issues from past gens. They could of improved/fixed like the camera quality or the playback delay.
I haven't had any problems with my seat belt sensors yet. The back up camera is absolutely terrible. I keep the auto high beams disabled most of the time now because of them not detecting.

2:25 rear seats don’t have weight sensor like the passenger seat have. It will turn green when you put on seatbelt and it will only turn red if you unbuckle while in motion

Thanks for this. I've been driving Civics for 31 years. I only replaced tires, oil & filters, one set of brakes which was my 1997 Civic as it had over 80,000 kms on it, a wheel bearing and one LR shock. I just purchased my 9th civic, a 2023 Civic EX and what a vehicle. My only beef is the glove box has shrunk quite a bit in comparison to my old 2019, a small detail. I look forward to many carefree years of driving.
I owned the same 15y but it is now reaching the end :( waiting for a new one

Just bought a red touring! Beautiful car for the money, I chose it over a Toyota and Nissan.
I bought one in white!!! Love it!!
Basically all that is included on the Toyota Avalon hybrid 2021, not to mention the Toyota has wayyy more space than the Honda

I wish reviewers would stay away from the touring models. Most folks are going to get the standard version if you do a ratio of touring to non touring. Jus sayin
I got the touring, in the states though. I don't get the rear heated seats or heated steering wheel. Lame.
@@jordanblack6589 Dude I got the regular and watching the touring reviews drives me crazy because lots of the displays options are labeled but shaded which means I can’t access them. Also there is no wireless connection to Apple car play and no wireless charging. As far as I can tell there is one driving mode so no sport and economy and one other. It’s still a great car but honestly the UA-cam reviews are useless to me because I lack 65% of the features they cover ugh
@@peteraldrich1444 I’m a music guy so the Bose speakers were the main proponent in my choice. All of the trims are great though! Just enjoy it my guy!

It's very sad that the sport trim doesn't show the temperature gauge. I wish honda could just create an update that can be done to add it

Do you see navigation clues from the apple carplay? In my honda civic x you can see navigation hints on the display but only for android auto. Was wondering if they've fixed that

CLARIFY: in my civic 2022 it also takes a minute to recognize that someone is back there and has their seatbelt sometimes it doesn’t read it until I am driving

1. Can you roll the windows back up with the key?
2. Can you leave the engine on, step out of the car, and lock the door?
It did not roll back up with the key fob. To roll it back up you have to do what I did on the previous gen civic cool features video. I know some cars especially FCA allows me to lock the doors while the engine is running and it’s an amazing feature but sorry to say did not try it with this civic
2nd question is a great question honestly. It really be the small things that make a big difference 😂
I remember my Jeep allowed me to do that but my Mercedes doesn’t
@@TheStarwars2011 ikr, can't believe this easy feature is not available on every car. My Sentra 2010 had it, cannot believe 2021 Civic doesn't have it.
Sometimes you'd need to step out of the car for a few secs and keep the engine on with doors locked for safety.

Honda welcome to world of technology , they are still two years behind. Asking $28000 for civic touring with only 180 Hp is a joke . They should have at least 280 Hp for this price either V6 or turbo
