@@brittreacts Home Free was on season 4 of the Sing Off and Shawn, from Boys to Men, was a judge. You should check out their performances and listen to what Shawn has to say!
Shawn Stockton was a judge on the show, "The Sing Off", the year Home Free won. They actual sang together on one of the episodes! Home Free seems to understand when covering classics which ones to honor and stick to the melody of the original song and do their magic to create a great modern rendition. Rob does such a great job with this one.
The thing that makes this cover so much better than many other covers is Home Free does not try to sound exactly like BoyzIIMen. They put their own stank on it. It's not actually a "cover". It's a rendition.
This was no easy song to cover. Attempting to cover B2M is very ballsy to start because, well, it's B2M. To cover a B2M song and pull off something amazing is phenomenal. Love the song and love this cover. If you'd like to hear Home Free take you to church, you should react to their cover of Maren Morris' hit "My Church."
These guys do an amazing job of this song! They can do any genre including R&B. Rob's voice has so much feeling & soul in it. Austin adding his higher tones, Chance harmonizing in the back, Tim adding some bass & Adam with his fabulous vocal percussion. These guys are my favorite a cappella group out there. All their songs are good whether it is serious, heart warming or funny.
Just saw them 2 days ago, Like Tim said we did not come to a concert, we came to a party. Then invited everyone to upgrade their tickets and come down to the stage.
Must have been at the same show. Tim also said, "As an extra incentive to come down front, all of the SUBWOOFERS ARE RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE STAGE". I put it in CAPS cause as each word hit he went lower, and Lower, and LOWER! It was SOOOOO GOOD! If anyone has not seen them, DO IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!
Britt you have such a beautiful soul and the music just exudes through you as you take it in. One of their judges on The Voice in 2013 was from Boys to Men, suspect they did this in honor of him and them. ❣ I stand corrected, was too much in a hurry to post before walking away from the computer. Yes it was the 'Sing off". Thank you for bringing this to my attention. 🙂
Hi Britt, Girl, now you are cooking with gas!!! I was one of your many subscribers who suggested that you react to this one!!! And welcomed you into the fan base of "HOME FRIES!!!" I also, with all due respect to all of the other great A Capella groups out there said that (IMHO) Home Free is (both collectively & individually) the most versatile Vocal Band on the planet!!! You will never go wrong with any of their music because these brothers "DON'T MISS!!!" Thank you for this reaction it is very much appreciated!!! Sincerely, CR SoundDoctor
I really enjoy watching black folk react to this song! This is the song that usually sells Home Free for black folk. Before this song, they all be like "Yeah, they good, but let's see how they do this!" And after, they can't say enough good about them and they become fully converted Home Fries!
You certainly got that right! I had to stop and rewind. If Britt looks like this in her thirties, think what she's gonna look like when she starts to "Mature!" He husband is one lucky man.
I just saw HF February 22 in Mesa. Sold out banger of a show❤I have never seen people on their feet like that before. Britt thank you for your reactions. A guy up above talked about lonely seniors. We come from the best music from days gone by. Great to enjoy it again with young people. It’s so good.
You, young lady, are absolutely adorable when you really get into a song. Your reaction videos are fun to watch, and I like how you really (REALLY) appreciate a wide range of genres and artists. Keep it up!
I've been binge watching a lot of your videos this morning, and I got to admit they're heartwarming and funny at the same time. I absolutely love this group and was actually able to serve them some food when they stop by my restaurant when they were on tour a couple years ago. Nicest guys you'll ever meet
Rob (lead here) can really bring it. He killed it. Tim just had that small part but I loved it. Austin brought it too. When they were on the Sing Off, Shawn Stockman of BoyZ II Men and he loved them. I think they wanted to do it justice. It’s a good one. Blue Ain’t Your Color is another bluesy song you might like. Home Free is really versatile. Love them! 🥰
The purest sound of God, is perfect harmony of voice, pure and simple, Love having met you here good Lady, loving this with me one more time...... God be with you.
Girl. I'm 63. I have no glue on this song. However, I LOVE how you react to ALL the videos you watch! They are priceless! Keep it up! 100K is not far off!!!!
Good morning Brit great reaction! This is a great song Home free put their foot in it. You're right though the lyrics A little racey I've heard this song a million times never really paid attention to the lyrics just thought it was a great song and still do! Have a great day!
Boyz II Men's Shawn Stockman was a judge during the season of NBC's "The Sing Off" which Home Free won. He was clearly a fan by the end of the season. No doubt he appreciated this cover.
This song is Home Free's tip of the hat to Boyz II Men. Shawn Stockman was one of the judges when Home Free competed on The Sing-Off. Great reaction. Rob rises to the occasion with this one.
These guys are so amazing! Tim the bass has a 5- octave range. Shawn from Boyz II Men was a judge when they were on the Sing-Off and encouraged them to do this. They also won the Sing-Off. Love your reaction!
I appreciate your honesty when you don’t know about a song. I am always interested in your insights. Home Free, Angelina, Morissette, you can’t go wrong. Listen to Gary Valentino on wish bus singing Spain. Jazz at its best
First off, Britt…you have such a pretty voice! Thank you for posting your reaction to Home Free’s cover of End of the Road. Such a unique song originally done by by the epically talented, Boyz ll Men. Each member of Home Free provides a masterful clinic on their respective parts within the song. As you pointed out, Tim Foust tends to steal the show with his unparalleled bass notes. I encourage you to get more acquainted with Tim as he has a range that only comes around every few hundred years or so. The man is a true anomaly.
Hey Britt, I have been blown away by several Home Free covers. Their arrangements and harmonies and the quality of all their voices are incredible (along with the talent of the beatboxer). On a side note...I have to say that you are one of the nicest, most personable and most beautiful women I've seen on UA-cam. 😁
You just got to see Gospel Rob! I honestly think he is the secret weapon in the group. He can emote so much with his voice and dig down into your soul. Yet he can float along with a light high tenor. He is just amazing to me. The way they decide who does lead is they will all sing the lead track and then play it back to see who is best for the song. They did a song called "Catch Me If You Can" and he owned it to the point that once he had recorded his track for consideration for lead, the other guys said "Nope. Can't top that!" and didn't even try.
Home free is so good. I heard them do brothers in arms first then listened to the original by Dire Straights, I actually like the cover by home free better. As someone has said, home free doesn't do covers, the do upgrades.

Rob really took off on this song and never looked back. I didn't think he could get any better, but he sure did. Blue-eyed soul is in good hands with The Beard. Home Free doesn't do covers. They do upgrades.
Adam coming straight in with the beatboxing skills, sounding JUST like drums, then Rob with his soulful voice. I have had to listen to this song so many times, to break it apart by individual vocals, by beatboxing, but how about the background harmonies. WOW...Love your reactions Britt!
I was so glad they didn't try to duplicate the original exactly... because for real, who can do this song better than the OG? Nobody! But, they sure do it justice and I enjoy this cover every time I hear it. Great reaction, cute chick! Blessings from Texas
What I remember about this song, besides it being a classic tune, was that when it was released, it somewhat became the theme song for every high school graduating class in America. It was everywhere, and every class in the country wanted that to be their song. It must’ve been played at countless ceremonies, and there wasn’t a better song to choose.

Loved your reaction, Britt! I read that in an interview the group was asked who was the best singer. Everyone but Rob, said "Rob". After seeing the Nessun Dorma cover, I now know why. OMG, he's good, and the rest of them are right there with him!
Your comment about growing up hearing this song (or others) and not really listening to the lyrics and now actually hearing them like the one "come to my bed" is something that I too have noticed. I'm much older than you and grew up with the songs of the late 50's and 60's and didn't have a clue as to some of what I was listening to until the last few years hearing those same songs again on an oldies radio station. Some of it makes me blush.
Hey there Scott here you know it's all Capella at the end the best box just stops and joins in the lyrics. Great reaction. Ive been a Home Free Fan for years and saw them live in Concert, you need to find the best box video of Adam Rupps Solo in concert it will blow you away. When he did this when I saw them the theaters concrete floor shook. Lol 😆
Britt, I have enjoyed several of your reaction videos without making any comments. But today I just have to say you have the most charming smile. It just lights up a room! Keep it up!
Britt you know it's all A capella, right? The guy doing lead this time was Rob. With him was Austin. Baritone and helps with bass is Chance. Bass is Tim and all those musical instruments that aren't there is beat boxer Adam.☮️
These guys can sing anything! If you want to here Rob and Austin's attempt at opera, try "Nessun Dorma". Two country boys sing opera. If you want to here Tim rattle your headphones, try Peter Hollens ft. Tim Foust's version of "Misty Mountain" from the Hobbit. Just the two of them, 120 layers over 5 octaves. OMG!!!
End of the Road was my song for our graduation class in 1994. I'll always love this song. Boys II Men will always do it best but Home Free does a great 2nd place effort.
First, I am a white woman from Canada I was born and raised in Saskatchewan in the 60s and 70s. Everyone there because most of them work blondes I guess and me to wanted to look like Linda Carter Wonder woman cuz she had dark hair and light eyes, I have to say I would give anything to look like you you are stunning. Anyways back to home Free they are all awesome singers I think Austin is gorgeous but he's kind of blondish so I like the darker hair guys like the one that singing with glasses and the deep-space guy I think his name is Tim.. thank you for doing home free God bless 🇨🇦👋❤️🇺🇸🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I have been waiting for you to react to this song since you did When a Man Loves a Woman. You did not disappoint...Great reaction!!!! Another acapella group you may like is Pentatonix I would suggest Hallelujah keep up the great work, you are my new favorite reactor
HF is expert at making "5 guys standing in a field/building/whatever" videos. Their music is so wonderful they don't need glitz to make a video stand out.
Rob could have brought the grit and longing at the beginning but he got there in the end. You are so fun to watch! Great reaction. Keep going! There's so many more HF love songs that will have you swooning, laughing, crying and grabbing your poor husband and heading for the bedroom. Enjoy! Tim opted not to talk because their values don't promote that kind of behavior. These boys always respect family values. That's why we love them.
Love Homefree and they killed this one!!! Great reaction!🤠❤🤠
thank you so much!
