Skateboarding Seattle to Portland 2015

Joined this year by Clark Blumenstein for his 1st STP! He knocked it out with strength and style, pushed through the tough parts and made it Sunday with valuable hours to spare at the Finish Line beer garden! This was my 8th STP by skateboard and the course is getting better every year. Some long stretches that used to be chipseal have been replaced by smooth paths. We also got lucky - after a month+ straight of Seattle temps 80-100 degrees, we had a cooled down weekend around 70-80. Saw lots of familiar faces and cranking out the miles with a buddy made the time fly. The pace was a little mellower than previous years. Clark is the 3rd to skateboard STP, one other year (2007) I was joined by Barefoot Ted.
