Would love to see a 'summer holiday' video where you take a Brommie on vacation to somewhere with expensive taxi fees (Greece, Japan, etc...?) then overcome the costs by cycling from the airport to the accommodation, as well as around town (and/or between cities?!) after that. The end of the video could add up all the costs saved versus a presenter that did everything through taxi/public transport. Plus you could also highlight any interesting locations and side roads discovered as well as the calories burned/fitness aspect.

With GCN being independent again, I hope the Global Bike Festival returns. This looks like the ideal combination with the parking garage race in Saalbach.

Next year. When the factory rider say Seatpost 1st, unfold seatpost 1st. Mtb shoes run way quicker. Notice the kits in the finals. A vest has to be way lighter & more aero.
Don’t want to name drop here but when the CEO of Brompton taught me to unfold it wasn’t seat post first… 😂 And I was in mtb shoes. Tweed jacket I will accept was perhaps not as optimal as could be.
Phantastic video! Just one idea for the people who organise the event. Put in some chicanery: squeeze through two parking cars or manoeuvre around a delivery car. Like in a real commute race from the station to the office to get to a meeting on time.😅
I test rode an e bompton a few years ago and OMG was it good! Managed to get me up one of the steapest hills in my home city with no effort at all! Couldn't afford it at the time but still want one even now!
It is a pity the titanium model isn't hub motor compatible due to the carbon forks. I like the idea of getting one, and then in old age slapping an ebike kit onto it so I can keep riding.
I had a feeling Mike would make an appearance in this video! He's class in a way nobody else at Brompton HQ can quite live up to, in my opinion. And a hell of a cyclist in his own right! So good to see him. And Si, as a fellow 41-year-old, thanks for the incredibly strong showing!

It's an interesting concept! But you pay extra for the bike on a plane so that cost is sometimes greater than the public transport cost

I test rode the e-bike version and was surprised by how quick and sporty it felt. The small wheels are something else.
