Stay tuned, the castle is not finished. I already added a floating coffin room lead by a staircase, castlevania style. Also already have plans to build a clock tower and a ballroom/dining hall.
Imagine working there as a cleaning maid. Just taking out the dust, preparing breakfast, dinner (or blood), cleaning clothes and oiling up swords and weapons...and also feeding the living chests caerfully. 😊😊
Just want to give an update. I've been working on a different castle where i took suggestions from people, i realized i couldn't make the castle in this video branch out the way i want it to. Once i get some free time ill record the video for that one and upload and imo, its a much better looking castle. I just need a gardener.
Maybe on the next tour when I deem the castle 100% finished. I can explain my thought process a little here. 3 things i knew i wanted before i started. 1. A second story front entrance. 2. A grand library. A 3 story throne room. A lot of it was just placing walls and floors and seeing how it looks then deciding what kind of room type it should be.
How did you build so high? I thought the height limit was 6 floors? Edit: Nvm, saw you addressed this in another comment. For anyone else looking for the answer: "The in-game settings allows up to 6 floors and 800 tiles. However, you can change the file settings to 10 floors and 1100+ tiles. This castle is 931 tiles in the current video. Lighting starts acting weird with more tiles, for me anyway." - chodemonster85
Amazing work Im building my 1.0 castle in the same spot and pre 1.0 my main castle was in the same area as well fraid mine wont be as epic but i hope itll look great as well as be functional 😸
my thoughts exactly, i started recreating it just off the video but once you get to floor 5 and up parts of the castle are not shown and it gets difficult. but im pretty sure i have floors 1-4 at a 1-1 right now
Splending Castle! Love the detail of the song Bloody Tears running in the background XD You must've farmed materials like a madman? Are some of the carpet designs cosmetic additions to the base game like DLC content etc? Cos i beat the game on Brutal and have every single achievement but i don't recognize some of them. I can't wait until this game's future mod community starts going to work on this game!!
I have a question, I'm a newbie v rising player. I have no experience with these building games. Do you build such huge castles all on your own or do many people build it together? Because collecting materials and everything takes soooo much time, and when I see one of these castles, the number of decor and paintings, windows, everything, is it a single person making it?
On your own servers, you can set the resources to be like 3x higher. can set the requirements for building and crafting to lower. this was purely an easy playthrough and it was all me. On official servers, I imagine your clan would pool the resources to make one good castle that has everything.
Thank you. The in-game settings allows up to 6 floors and 800 tiles. However, you can change the file settings to 10 floors and 1100+ tiles. This castle is 931 tiles in the current video. Lighting starts acting weird with more tiles, for me anyway.
Dude... I understand that you spent a lot of time and effort on this work, and it looks beautiful, but... In short, this is probably just my perception, but I don’t just look at the work, but also imagine what it would be like to play in this castle. And it would be extremely inconvenient to play in this castle. Unnecessarily long distances between workstations and storage areas. And in general, there are a lot of absolutely empty and non-functional rooms here. Perhaps it makes sense to divide the castle into different zones? Compactly place workstations and storage, make a separate pompous throne room and, possibly, a ballroom, build a crypt for servants and private chambers for the owner. If you add a little pre-planning to your hard work, I think you could end up with a diamond!
I get what you're saying, but it's pretty functional to me. I have castle teleporters right next to the vampire teleporter and they take me near all the crafting areas. Even put all storage boxes near the teleporter as well for quick loot drop off. Thanks for the critique.
this mentality makes the game in a pvp setting fucking shitty to play. with honeycombing out the ass and ugly as fuck castles. base raiding and room design needs a complete overhaul in this game to make it less of a shit experience for raiding. fuck efficiency when you can have badass fights through sick ass looking castles.
all these videos tell me is that v rising seriously needs to get their shit together and overhaul the raiding system they currently have. fighting through ugly ass honeycombed bases sucks ass. you should get some kind of buffs or something depending on how badass your castle looks lmao.
this castle felt so beautiful and emotional to me !! this is exactly how vampire castles look like in castlevania

I imagine Renfield being like this if it was actually good. Just a comedy of servants dealing with the daily bs in Draculas castle.
this is beautiful my man, keep up, iam 60 hrs into the game and having a blast
Great work!

Great work my dude!
Thanks! It took a long while.
You built this whole thing in-game? It looks absolutely incredible, well done!!
Yeah, it took a while. Thank you!
love this game!
awesome build! (:
Thank you!
Dude what the fuck, I didn't know you could build any higher than 2nd story.
Thank you for the inspo bro
what music did you use in the background? is it copyright free?
Its in the game, actually. Its bloody tears from castlevania, v risings rendition.
I'm curious, would you be interested in doing a commentary to share your thought process on the build?

Thank you! Good luck! Remember, you can always knock down a wall if something seems inaccessible.
How do you change soundtrack of castle?
I keep seeing these enormes castles and wondering are they realy fit in one Building ground so to speak
Yikes - that is awesome ... I am actually embarrassed by how bad mine looks in comparison.
Would be cool if there was a blueprint to use as a guide so those who want to recreate this could.

On this server i have resources set to high. I have all of the DLCs which most of the stuff in video uses.
@@chodemonster85 Ah ok yeah that explains all the cool looking stuff :)
Great video m8!

Bruh join my clan so you make this for me lol. My castle is an ugly big box.
I already asked he charges for building
This looks amazing, dude! However, to my knowledge, the castle can only have so many stories-or can it?

@@chodemonster85 sweet! Thanks for the info
I can tell you like to place things symmetrically.
OCD that way. No way to do the castle fully symmetrical though.
where were you yesterday i deleted becasue i just couldnt find a good build
Haha, sorry. Thanks for the comment, that makes it feel like it wasn't a waste of time.
insane build. song used? do you need dlcs to do this?
V riding adaptation of bloody tears, you need all of the DLC to replicate the style. Thank you, got an even more insan3le build in the works
@@chodemonster85 will definitely check it out. cheers mate !
Name of song, please❤
Blood tears from castlevania, v risings rendition. Go listen for the originals, one of the best castlevania songs.

@@johnwayne4911 This guy gets it. Castlevania castles are never practical in any of the games, that's the point.

I haven't tried pvp yet, and not sure I want to based on all the complaints i hear about it. Maybe if raiding wasn't in.
