I looked it up on amazon . I looked up the Red and it said we recommend these 3 , The 3 colors of the flag! UA-cam and Amazon make things so much easier!
I like both, but for some reason the white popped out at me this time. Definitely think the Royal blue would be darker and look better. Would you color in the stars with the white or not? When I run out of the stains and I can’t find them anymore I will give this stuff a try for sure. I’m glad wood prices are coming back down, hopefully they will continue to come down.
Hmm, if the stripes were white i would probably color the stars white also but they might look fine without it too. I noticed that! Haha a 2x4 is down to like 3.80 here which is way better than a couple months ago, i really hope they will get back to normal
Have you had any trouble with that stain bleeding when you brush on polyurethane? I use the same stain. Good stuff but mine always bleeds on to other colors when brushing on poly.

Great job Max. Thanks for sharing. Looks like they are out of the red Spirit stain. Is your Minwax crimson or scarlet, Lowes has crimson but it does not look as red as yours. Is there a stain code on the red you got from Lowes? Thanks in advance.
I was able to find it on one of your older videos. It must be a color that was available then. Even using the Lowes paint codes, they will not mix it since their system only allows preset colors.
Hmm, they must be different for different Lowes and Home Depos, I think i seen Scarlet pretty recently at my local Home Depo but dont remember seeing crimson, ill have to look. It sure doesnt help when they are so inconsistent with what colors they have or dont have at certain locations! Sorry that your having trouble finding it!

Nice work. I’m slightly color blind and cant see the green tint in it. I’m working on one now that has spent casings in the stars.
