I love how they always put the cuffs in the FRONT to make them "comfortable!" I've seen other stops with large guys, being perfectly compliant, and they put them in the back and say, "It's our POLICY!"
And they wonder why they aren't respected anymore?! Reason 1 of 💯!!

It looks ridiculous to us because we have no loyalty to coworkers. They are the people who will be their lifeline in a bad situation. They have to rely on each other in life or death situations. Good cops don’t like when bad cops break the law but also don’t want to be the ones to hold them responsible.

Deliberately muting your audio and talking with first respondents, while investigating an accident scene, is highly suspicious to the investigation. Proper procedures were not followed for a person accused of DUI. Muting of audio, handcufffed in front, no search or validation of a firearm in the vehicle.. all signs of privileged treatment shown towards that fellow law enforcement person. Shame

I got pulled over 13 times in 2013 due to a continuous burning out taillight. I never got a 🎟. The cops were always very kind, and everything one of them gave me directions to an auto parts store. I was replacing the burnt out bulb for the 13th time when I noticed that the wires were shorted out. I bought new taillights, and I installed them myself and never got pulled over again ✔️ Those taillights still have not needed a new bulb in a decade. New lights have LED bulbs, so they last for a long time.

As a police Sgt. he should know better than anyone not to drink and drive. There just isn't any upside. It is all downside and bad for EVERYONE. I don't know why people do it. Maybe someone out there knows. Anytime I have ever had a drink of alcohol at a public place, the VERY FIRST thing that popped into my mind is who is going to drive me home because I damn sure am not going to get behind that wheel with even one drink in me. It just isn't worth it. As I have gotten older, I don't have a drink in public at all any more. Even if a beer with pizza tastes so good, It just isn't worth it. Just that smell on your breath will draw suspicion if you are stopped for what ever reason, and what if there is an accident? Do you want the officer to smell that on your breath. Even if it is totally NOT your fault, and you did have that "just one beer" with your food, how does it look? It doesn't look good. No, there is NO upside to drinking in public. Only the downsides. If you want to drink a 30 pack every nite in your home, I don't care as long as you don't make too much noise. Pass out every night of the week for all I care. What you do in your home doesn't bother me. But don't get behind the wheel on the public motorways. Just don't do it.

The older officer who wanted to whisper all the time was just a hindrance. You could tell he justed wanted to let the guy go. Said there wasn't any damage when there clearly was, said the guy had been compliant to the officer, the said directly to the guy something like "you wouldn't comply with me but you need to comply with him". Everyone else seemed to just get on with the job whereas he wanted to get in the way.

This is still corruption caught in action. Just because they had to do their job doesn't mean some of them didn't want to cover for him. They just couldn't do it without implicating themselves in the corruption. Thank goodness for these cameras. Every one of them should be required to wear it and not be able to tamper with it.

If we have to obey laws then cops should do the same. Cops should be fired for letting fellow officers get by with bs like DWI.
