Put one on my 270 3 yrs ago. Still going strong & true. Quarter inch groups at 100 yards.
Good to know!
You've just proved that you don't have to buy an 800.00 scope to drill shots!..great shooting !!
Just did it last week with a cheap 5.56 rifle- you don't need an expensive rifle or big caliber either.
That’s a fucking beautiful rifle, just ordered this scope so nice to see some shooting vids
That paper blown by the wind startled the crap out of me.
That's also a sick scope. Super fancy-looking rifle right there too.
😅 I was waiting for someone to comment "nice catch" lol. And thanks, that rifle is the pride and joy of my collection right now.
I have eight scopes on different guns an that scope in on my .243 the best scope I have by far!
My dad was looking for something like this and I showed him your video and he picked up one and he loves it
He put it on his ruger 1022
And he bought a sun shade for it
That's a heck of a scope for a 10/22 lol
@@BuckeyeBallistics thats what I did until I realized it's not for 22s. Lol
@Hobbit - Hey, it still works! I've had em just as big on small calibers trying to shoot way too far with them like 400-500 yards- helps you see the bullet impact on the ground to make adjustments.
1/8 inch at 100 yards, here you said 1/4. You needed a few extra turns to bring it all the way down. Great video! Great shooting 👍
Thank you for the review! Great job!
Cool video thanks for sharing maybe I should have went with one of them I bought a Simmons to get started with anyways I was debating on it for a while my Simmons has a fixed zoom so that’s about 100 yard range think it will be to hard to see anything further than that with out zoom
It'll probably hold up fine .
That particular scope is 1/8 inch clicks at 100 yards. To move four inches you would have to move it 32 clicks.
Great Vid. on Cost effectiveness Brother!! I have 4 Diff. CV Life Scopes w/NO Issues!! IDC if you have a $2000.00 Scope W/ Glass as clear as a Swiss Mountain Lake its All for Naught if You are a $2.00 Shot!! Kudos again..
Thanks for this video because I'm looking to replace the scope on my .308 Remington bolt action. Sorry have one other question for you, How is the focus on this going from 6 to 24?
If I recall correctly, it was clear for me at all magnifications- I just had to tweak it a little here and there to make it such if I zoomed in a lot. The front objective is adjustable as is the rear diopter, so you should be able to get a clear image for whatever magnification you are using at whatever distance.
Ok thank you for the info and your video, from Alabama
I run these on my air guns .22 and .30 cal, seem to work well after 3 years.
PCP or springers?
@@BuckeyeBallistics PCP Krul puncher/Breaker .22, Sig .22, and a Umarex Gauntlet .30.
I do have a CVLife scope that is still on one of my rifles. It has so far been an OK scope for the money, but you cannot feel or hear the clicks when adjusting. Don't get me wrong the scope works and I shoot decent groups with it, but it does leave a bit to be desired. If feeling the clicks or hearing them makes a big difference to you I should not purchase this scope. I have since purchased a Monstum that costs $200-$250 and like it's much better, but one must get real it cost 4 times as much as this budget scope. I myself will not purchase another one of these even though the one I still have on one of my rifles still works OK I like being able to feel and hear the clicks when adjusting. Nice video.
For $50 I would certainly expect there to be something left to desire lol, so I'm glad you basically stated exactly that- more money buys more. That said, they now offer much better scopes in the $100-$300 range as well that have even better glass, click audibly/forcibly and more accurately, and have even more features like zero stop, zero reset, and lockable turrets. I have tested about all of them- see the Parts Accessories & Optics playlist for more...
Any updates about this scope? Or have u even really used it since this video?
Actually I just used it again on this exact gun just a few days ago, .25-06 ammo accuracy test. I shot 5 different 3 shot groups at 100 yards testing 4 different loads to see which was the most accurate. Without spoiling the video, it held zero and shot several *very* tight groups. The video will be up by sometime next week...
I’m like @jakeoutdoors9600 from a year ago. 👍🏼
Great shooting.
🙏
Great video! Thank you
24x, that's a big boy!
Yep, good enough for headshots at 500 🙋♂️lol ... or groundhogs would be more politically correct- unless vegans are tuning in 😅
@@BuckeyeBallistics Ground hogs are well known godless commie heathens. 😀
thanks for the review!
Thanks for watching
Good shooting. Good review.
Thanks
Slapping this on my AR-15 soon. Have it on my 350 right now but I think it would be better suited to a 5.56 rather than the 350 legend.
I have a video shooting my 350L 500 yards accurately lol. But yeah 5.56 shoots flatter.
I bought this scope and sent it back. It is not 24x only 15x. I could tell because the FOV was about 7 feet at 100 yards, it should be less than 5 feet.
great video!
I have nothing useful to contribute. Just trying to make a sacrifice to the algorithm gods.
Appreciate it!
My cvlife 6-24×50mm says 1/8" @100yds..
So should he have moved it 40 clicks then instead of 20?
Nice buddy
Somehow I've been missing all your uploads, I'm gonna go catch up on a few. Thanks for continuing to stop in.
What scope rings did you use for your savage rail sir ?
Sorry but I don't recall- some old pair I've had for well over 10 years.
Lol..that's cool.. thanks buddy
How is your cvlife scope holding up after 11 months?
Just fine. I have been testing a ton of their scopes on the channel and haven't had any issues with a single one yet. I have a different one on this rifle now that I just recently reviewed, and I just took it out and got some hits at 1000 yards in the wind with it (video soon). They are good scopes for the money.
@BuckeyeBallistics Good morning, buckeye. Thank you for this information. As you see in my profile picture. I pulled the trigger and ordered up a CVLIFE 4x12x40 SFP jakalhawk. Yes, I was BLOW away at the 4 and 5 star reviews on it. When I came across your video and saw it was all about this brand scope and saw how it handled HIGH caliper rifle. I knew I had to ask you after 11 months on its reliability. I look forward to my gunsmith getting done mounted it up with UTG M1A scope mount bracket and UTG cantilever offset scope mount. I actually like the design of UTG cantilever mount. It's got 5 picatinny rail mounting bars on it. 3 full length with 3 locking screws and 2 hafe bars. I saw good reviews on that UTG scope mount holding the scope SUPER STRONG to the picatinny rail and for 60$ for that and the UTG scope mount bracket. I figured I'd give it a shoot and pair those up with the CVLIFE scope. Then as my skill level grows, slowly move up scope models. What CVLIFE scope do you recommend on 500 yards and better?
This scope and their newer 6-25x56 I just referenced are good for 500 yards and beyond.
Quanto ela suporta no impacto do disparo?
Monstrum 1 to 10 lpvo is the budget king rn check it out
🤟🏽👍🏼🤟🏽👍🏼
Goetland 6-24x50 look like équivalent for 60% the price.
So the Goetland is $30? Because this Cvlife here is only $50 US. We can't get Goetland here, but it looks like an exact copy...
What r the line going down the scope when looking through
Marks for bullet drop compensation, wind deflection, and a makeshift range finder. I went over some of this in the video...
Miss that lol
How many yards can the scope shoot?
1000 yards or further if you want it to. It all depends on what gun/caliber you have it mounted on and whether or not you need and have a 20moa riser base.
@@BuckeyeBallistics got it mounted to my ar15 diamond back
Poors will say they can't afford it! Get a better job or 2nd job if you can't afford a premium optic like this one! Learn a trade!
You're a funny guy...
If you cant afford a 50$ scope you're definitely using an illegal gun. Lol
I put mine on my wife's credit card ha ha
Target practice is one thing but when you have a buck of a life time come out and you miss it because you trusted a cheap scope and it fails. Not a good feeling. I know from experience
Well if you're hunting for a once in a lifetime shot, what the heck are you doing with a $50 scope? Crappy thing is, I've been in this industry long enough to see high end super expensive stuff fail too. You can reduce the chances by spending 20x as much, but you never fully eliminate the possibility...
New shooter from CA. Just purchased a ruger american gen 2 to serve as my first and probably last bolt action. Really just a range toy or to take down coyotes, hogs and zombies if shtf. Sounds like this scope is not for everyone, but its perfect for an normal shooter like myself. Great review. Ill make sure to use the link when i purchase.

You talk way too much. Get to business
I own the pinty version of that Chinese pos and I can tell it does not stay zeroed. 30.06 after about 50 it turned to crap inside and won't track any direction for shit !
Mine still works, and there is another commentor that say his still works on his .270 after 3 years. Maybe .30-06 is too much recoil, or maybe you got a bad one- it happens. I have had $500 scopes fail, so it can happen at any price point...
same exact scope a the pinty just a name change
