I am planning to do reactions to reactions! It will be awesome!
Reacher is hysterical. He's like a superhero without science fiction superpowers. He's just a Sasquatch with training😂
A very handsome Sasquatch 😂
He would have taken Thanos on alone.
Fun fact, Reacher has never done any weightlifting. The character that is, not the actor. It's just pure genes.
Bro said sasquatch.😂😂😂
It's true. Guys that big, especially if they grew up on a farm, can literally KO another man with an ear slap.
He just stepped out of that window like a complete boss and kept on beating the snot out of that other officer
He just walk casually like a boss

Like Andre steppin over the top rope!
That was Sobel!!!!! Get him!!!
Yes. Authentic badass scene.
Reacher stepping out the window that he just smashed open using a grown man is testament to how well this show portrays his larger than life character.
When he said “how about you be quiet, there’s adults talking” every single person sitting down, besides reacher, were overcome with a sick and nervous feeling about how bad it was about to be for the “adult” lol
that from the book I take it ?
@@zibafu This wasn't in the book. Cinematic scene that shows Reacher's morals and loyalty to his crew.
Hilarious an officer telling an NCO that the adults are talking, as officers are known as small children by NCO’s.
@@taylorroberts8288 But yet they are the NCO's boss. But hey -- moral victory. And to head you off, yes I'm former military.
So save me the "but the NCO's and chiefs" run the military lecture.
Particularly galling to say that to an E-8 who has probably been in the service just as long or longer than that "officer."
If there's one thing I've learned about the Army, you do NOT talk down to an NCO. If she's a Master Sergeant she probably has the respect of entire Platoons.

Yeah, he walked through the window instead of climbing over it. Like a boss.

My friend how could you compare that scene to a place called hell as if you've been there no you've not been to Hell but you will be going to hell if you don't repent of your sin and receive the king of kings and Lord of lords as your own personal Savior and that name is Jesus the Christ the one and only by him you have life and without him you have death in a place called hell forever and ever for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth on him should not perish but have everlasting life Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life no man cometh to the father but by me but as many received him to them gave you power to become the sons of God even to them that believe on his name
I've never watched a single episode but I watch the clips. This guys character is perfect. Love his lines.
The clips aren’t the only good bits. The series is definitely worth the watch.
I sound like a curmudgeon when I say this, but the book(s) are a little better. I like both Cruise and Ritchson, they are both doing great jobs with the roll.
The series is awesome. You need to see it.
That’s a stupid thing to do 😅
@@johnlozauskas778 I agree that the books are better. I don't agree that Tom Cruise was right for the role. I could never reconcile the 5'6" Tom Cruise with the 6'5" Reacher. Lee Child put heavy emphasis on Reacher's size - so much so that people were reflexively afraid of him. As big of an action hero as Cruise is, he could never be Reacher. Alan Ritchson is the perfect embodiment of all that Reacher is perceived to be in the books - a nice guy who minds his own business - until he encounters wrongdoings. Then he can and WILL take care of business! Ritchson doesn't need movie gimmickry to get the job done, either.
'You do not mess with the Special Investigators.'
I love the way that throughout the series, the 110th all seem to compete to pronounce it often and with new levels of menace.
things i hate is people seeking

The thing is... nobody was bothering the men who approached the table. The men who approached already had mayhem on their minds. The threat was made in a not so cordial way. Unbecoming an officer or a bar on a military base.
The reality is she was likely invited, guests are allowed in officers clubs and almost no officer worth his spit would ever treat a master Sgt that way.
They weren't arrogant enough to be real officers.

Calling it superb is a bit much, bring it back a bit. He's good enough for the role.
you gotta appreciate when he says "you're at least three short" as a nod to his mother telling him that he has the strength of three men
Isn't it still one person less in his team?
I like the change in expression the sergeant made when she was told not to talk. See doesn’t mind leaving cause she’s an Enlisted soldier in an officer bar, but does take issue being talked to like a child rather than an adult.
yeah that part irk'd me. i get what the officer was doing, but damn lol. some things are better left unsaid.
Well, fancy that?
It didn't help said officer was not the sharpest blade around thinking his rank made him invincible.
Exactly. I didn't mind following orders given to me by my Superior Officers. The only ones I had an issue with were the ones who treated me like a little kid. I had an Officer in a squadron (which we learned later was our own job field on another deployment. We were 355 ESFS (I THINK that's what it was. It's been a while 😂), and this unit was 455 ESFS. I pulled their chow-runner over for going 55mph in the basewide 25mph limit. I would have given him a break because he was SFS, but he was driving like an idiot and nearly crashed, and he copped an attitude with me when I went to talk to him. We let him go, and then his Captain called my Major and tried to yell at him about me, and needless to say, it didn't end well for the Captain. Later, when I ran into some guys from that 455 Unit by pure chance, they tried to say their Captain yelled at our Major and I quickly corrected them saying it was the other way around, because I was standing with my Commander when he called their Captain and I heard the whole exchange.

"What's so funny?"
"I'm just thinking about what the big guy is gonna do to you."
And now you know why he was laughing.
I swear he needs to be cast in a live action Duke Nukem film as Duke.
👀
He would 100% fullfill that role perfectly. Saying the Cheap Duke Nukem Punchlines with perfection
@@commanderrockwell Oh yeah, we need to start a petition.
That’s a perfect casting choice, but knowing Hollywood they would try their best to screw it up. The fans need to take it upon themselves to give the Duke his respectful film.
@@masterzombie161 Alan Ritchson already has the same quips and body language in Reacher that can easily translate well to Duke Nukem. He'll never have the iconic Jon St. John voice for the character, but I think it would work out just swell with Ritchson. Give Ritchson a flat top, sun glasses, some lines, and send it. However, like you said, Hollywood would just botch it, because everything is so woke. They'll just bash Duke Nukem for being sexist and a misogynist. Ritchson probably wouldn't want to get canceled over the character. Just saying though, in a fantasy world, Ritchson would be perfect for the part. Of course, could just go with the N64 version, and leave out the sexism and misogyny. Would still be pretty good I think.
My brother was in MI in the Army in the 'Nam era. Never got above corporal. Worked in civies. Lived in officers' quarters, ate in officers' mess, access to officers' quarters, never saluted anyone under a Major. His job you ask? Breaking into high security military bases without getting caught. Writing up reports based on their success.
We still write TVA's to this day (Threat and Vulnerability Assessments).
If he did that he was likely a 97B (35L nowadays, Counterintelligence Special Agent). That would also explain the civilian clothes. It's common for CI and CID to both wear civvies so that they're investigative authority isn't compromised by rank.

I have to say, besides the fact that Alan Ritchson gained more weight since season 1, he's also aged a bit. Has some more wrinkles. And it makes his character seem even more convincing. Season 1 Reacher was still a baby face, this one is a MAN.

Some people just never leave others alone til they meet their match. I like this scene, so satisfying.
The moment Reacher stood up for Neighly was the moment the team bonded stronger than glue
Exactly what I was hoping for! 😄😄
This version of Reacher reminds me so much of Geralt. Stoic but brutally realistic. Geralt faced with 4+ foes "Better round up someone else to help, three of you don't stand a chance against me"
Both of them are sociopaths too.
Team bonding at its finest
“If you don’t know the difference between right and wrong , raise your hand!” My son actually said this to his Joes before giving them weekend passes. He didn’t want to bail them out of jail for fights, drunkenness, general unruliness! It worked apparently!
And this is why senior NCO's should never leave their officers unsupervised. The poor dears might get themselves in trouble.
The next morning, MSG Neagley probably went to the other officer's 1SG to arrange remedial education on respect for fellow Soldiers regardless of rank. 1SG was probably smirking, "No problem, MSG. I got this."

Talking down to a Master Sargent at any rank is just insanity
The elitism in the officer corps is one of the biggest detriments to recruiting right now. Watching LTs challenge MCs in the Navy was a favorite pastime of mine while in the E4 mafia.

And Reacher season 2 would probably be just 6 or 10 episodes.. more please! A two book tv adaptation for season 3 for at least 20 episodes.. Just a Reacher fan Christmas wish.. Merry Christmas to one and all 😊😊
Wish they would adapt Never Go Back in Season 3. The book is one of my favorites after Killing Floor, and the movie did it dirty. It's rare for Reacher to have truly competent companions, and one that can order him about at that:P The book was too complicated a mess for a movie imo. It suits TV way better. Besides doing the book dirty, I feel the did both characters dirty too. Both Reacher and the Major. Reacher became this absentee father-figure who had no interest at all in any child. While the Major became more a damsel in distress who kept moaning about the need to care for the girl. And that teenager did not need to be there either.
She was a happy one living a good life in the book, and had no bearing on the story. She was just there imo to highlight Reacher's character. He had no problems walking into what was obviously a trap, in order to learn whether he actually had a kid or not. No way in hell he would just ignore it, as long as there was even the slightest possibility she was his. More so hearing about her horrible living conditions, which turned out to be a lie ofc.
I guess when it's Hollyweird, you might as well go ALL the way off the rails! Officers getting in a knock-down drag-out over a Master Sgt. in the O-club, STOP, yer killin' me over here! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🙄🙄🙄
