I have to disagree man, when they have to do quick edits like this during fights it usually mean they're trying to hide the fact that the actors are bad at the choreography. If you watch hong kong movies and even john wick, they let the scene breathe and go uninterrupted to let you know see clearly what's going on.

I very much liked the cast from the first season. I thought Roscoe was awesome. For Willa Fitzgerald being 32 yrs old, she has a wonderful future ahead of her! I was hoping somehow she would do a few scenes in season two but Reacher is a wanderer! Not to be.
@@richardhart3442 and you're forgetting that these are hard women who are former military who were trained by Reacher in hand to hand combat. If you read the books you would know that the 110th Military Police Company were bad asses.

Race swapping Francis Neagley in the first series aside, that first series was decent and true to the book. This second series is bilge, they’ve dumbed Reacher’s character down, his team’s back story is a joke, they’ve even moved from the desert to wintry forest. I’m out.
Prime…..You have got an outstanding series going here. Do not throw this out of a helicopter after season 2. This is good enough to have many seasons.

@@mauricetoussaint7283 more like highs are higher but also lows are lower. i like this seasons directing. i love reacher's companions more, because they are look more competent and more capable to keep up with reacher on many levels. the bad guys they've introduced feels reasonably more interesting. the action sequences and detective stuffs feels just as awesome if not better.
lower parts however... first season last reasonably longer to introduced us the ridiculous shits like that infamous crowbar fight, picard's getting shot and then disappearing like fucking batman, turning kj into the main villain.
this season, couldnt even last 3 episodes before giving us the fight scene where reacher and scarface hit each others with cinder blocks like it was a fucking snowball fight. that forced unrealistic barfight flashback. and a henchmen that get up after being shot multiple times like nothing happened because wearing vest(vests dont work like that)

I like how Reacher and O'Donnell remove their ties when they know they are walking into an ambush.

I like how the Reacher character can show the diversity in leading a team, being a 1 man band, or being part of a greater group by showing cooperation. He can be a leader OR follower; which makes him a tremendous asset.

Jack reacher is my inspiration at the gym, fast, strong, agile. A lion, leopard and jaguar all in one. Great actor and great series.

What people don't realize is alan played a comedic character on blue mountain state. He's an amazing actor.
He was also Raphael, and Hawk on Titans….oh, and before he was Thad, he was Aquaman…
It's a shame my Dad didn't live long-enough to see this show, one of a million reasons why... but he specifically was a BIG fan of the books, and also really disliked the Tom Cruise version. He would have loved this show, it's so insanely good!

The only problem with the stunts, in the books, Reacher didn’t have to hit em more than twice, unless they were a giant of a man, like him. Most of the time it was a head butt and an elbow or punch and, goodnight.

I love that even though Dixon, O'Donnell, and Negley, aren't as big as Reacher. They can still hold their own in a fight.
What kind of an ex-military can't hold their own in a fight? Especially those in a "special" unit.

Guys come a long way from being a no name career tribute in the hunger games to being such a well loved actor. I really hope he continues to go places. I loved Tom Cruise as Reacher in the movies, I love Alan even more.

The fight choreography for this scene was top notch. In a real life fight, knees, ankles and elbows are the most vulnerable points on your opponent.

They are recessed and protected by one of the hardest bones in the human body not to mention it's virtually impossible to not see an attack coming for your eye. The throat is also super protected. A throat attack also take like 10 seconds to be relevant to a fight and in that time the guy can mess you up.

When I watched this episode I had to replay at least 5 times the scene where Reacher grabs the chain and throws the guy off of the motorcycle.
