I have to disagree man, when they have to do quick edits like this during fights it usually mean they're trying to hide the fact that the actors are bad at the choreography. If you watch hong kong movies and even john wick, they let the scene breathe and go uninterrupted to let you know see clearly what's going on.
Alan Ritchson has absolutely nailed the Jack Reacher role and the cast this season is fantastic i hope its not the last time we see this bunch together

@@mauricetoussaint7283 more like highs are higher but also lows are lower. i like this seasons directing. i love reacher's companions more, because they are look more competent and more capable to keep up with reacher on many levels. the bad guys they've introduced feels reasonably more interesting. the action sequences and detective stuffs feels just as awesome if not better. lower parts however... first season last reasonably longer to introduced us the ridiculous shits like that infamous crowbar fight, picard's getting shot and then disappearing like fucking batman, turning kj into the main villain. this season, couldnt even last 3 episodes before giving us the fight scene where reacher and scarface hit each others with cinder blocks like it was a fucking snowball fight. that forced unrealistic barfight flashback. and a henchmen that get up after being shot multiple times like nothing happened because wearing vest(vests dont work like that)
"Did they also tell you you'd die tonight?" At least Reacher is honest and up front with the people he's about to kill. It's also funny that he points out to the bad guys that they were either lied to or not fully informed on what they were signing up for when they took the job.
The last line gives me goosebumps everytime! Yes, it has only been 4 days since this episode dropped, but I’ve already watched it a dozen times! Need the next episode, now 😂
I like how the Reacher character can show the diversity in leading a team, being a 1 man band, or being part of a greater group by showing cooperation. He can be a leader OR follower; which makes him a tremendous asset.

There aren’t that many episodes in a Reacher season and them we have to wait another year till the next. At least we know for sure there will be a season 3.
Guys come a long way from being a no name career tribute in the hunger games to being such a well loved actor. I really hope he continues to go places. I loved Tom Cruise as Reacher in the movies, I love Alan even more.

@@christiann1221 I haven't watched Season 2 yet. By "this" I meant Season 1 and the general concept of taking a book and making it into a season's worth of show episodes. Much easier to capture the details of the book over 8 hours of TV episodes vs a single 2 hour movie. Obviously Season 1 didn't hold 100% true to the book (impossible to do, given the book's setting in a pre-9/11 world), but it was a very well-done adaptation...ok, maybe homage is a better description. From the teaser clips I've seen, Season 2 looks to follow a similar path...hold true to the basic bones of the storyline, adapted to a more modern era that addresses the realities of 9/11, current geopolitical relations, and the monstrous evolution of technology over what the books dealt with. I thought Season 1 did a solid job of capturing as much of the story as realistically possible, it was entertaining AF, and Season 2 looks to continue in the same vein.
Alan's dad retired from the USAF and he's a military brat that was raised well and very talented it's helped a whole lot in his career plus he's about 6'4-6'6 tall what we in the military call "big mfer" LoL

The fight choreography for this scene was top notch. In a real life fight, knees, ankles and elbows are the most vulnerable points on your opponent.

@@christiann1221 I haven't watched Season 2 yet. By "this" I meant Season 1 and the general concept of taking a book and making it into a season's worth of show episodes. Much easier to capture the details of the book over 8 hours of TV episodes vs a single 2 hour movie. Obviously Season 1 didn't hold 100% true to the book (impossible to do, given the book's setting in a pre-9/11 world), but it was a very well-done adaptation...ok, maybe homage is a better description. From the teaser clips I've seen, Season 2 looks to follow a similar path...hold true to the basic bones of the storyline, adapted to a more modern era that addresses the realities of 9/11, current geopolitical relations, and the monstrous evolution of technology over what the books dealt with. I thought Season 1 did a solid job of capturing as much of the story as realistically possible, it was entertaining AF, and Season 2 looks to continue in the same vein.

I like Reacher’s no nonsense style of justice. He does warn the baddies before busting their heads.
