A smaller visor cracking space for air would have been very beneficial. Oh well can't think why they thought that was unecessary. If it had been able to be retrofitted to our Neo2 would have been perfect.
It looks great but it would be nice if the weight could somehow be paired down a bit. Is it possible to remove the communications bit at all if not required, or to even buy the helmet without it and what sort of weight might that save if so? Great video thanks. 😃👍
Warning to all. Replaced my super comfortable from Day 1 neotec 2 with the same size neotec 3. After 12 gours of wear I'm finding it painful to wear for more than an hour. Don't presume it will fit well just becaise the 2 was so good out of the box.
Comms! I use a Neotech 2 with SRL2. Shoei have made sure that the SRL2 doesn’t fit the new helmet, that means I need a new comms system. That just about doubles the price of changing to the Neotech 3. Thanks Shoei, for nothing
We well do some comparisons and do a video soon but to be honest with these two helmets it’s personal preference as they are similar. I must admit, I prefer the visor system on this, I feel it has a better seal along the top and it’s so easy to whip on and off (Video on this coming) Thanks
I only have one problem with it, which one to choose, the plain colours are bland & insipid & the graphics on the others don't do anything for me either.
Hi there, I have spoken to all the people who ride that sort of bike here and they recommend the Shoei Gt-Air 2 or a HJC RPHA 71 helmet for a full face option and make sure you fit the chin skirt. Sometimes an extended nose curtain can make all the difference to noise (It has made my Arai much better) Flip front wise...You cant do much better than the Neotec 2/3 and another recommendation is the Nolan N100-5 which are great value for money. Schuberth is another option but they are at a different price point.
Watch their warranty (Shoei) and avoid matt. They say its normal to discolour and refused to replace. Terrible to deal with and for a £600 helmet a complete disappointment
I’ve got three matte Shoei’s, never had a problem with the finish. A warm wet rag and it looks new again. I love the rubber like coating vs paint that scratches.
Spent a fortune in the summer buying two Neotec 2 with Senna. Nowhere near as good as Neotec gtair ventilation is terrible and the visor is rubbish. Unfortunately with these things you don’t know until you buy and wear.
@@t-rex4211 Thanks for the response. I've seen some notes like that as well but, at least on this topic, my visor has stayed raise and I've tested as fast as 55mph. I haven't had an issue with that. Today, my wind noise was really bad. I think the visor may not have been seated properly so I re-installed it tonight.
@@RamblinManMoto Glad it stayed up. Ahh just twigged, the neo is a Shoei, I was thinking of the Schubert that’s got the visor problems. They both run senna intercoms. Yeah yours could be a visor issue with noise. Check the air coming up from below, seal that off and that’ll help. I’m still looking for a quiet lid but no immediate hurry. 30 db earplugs helps 😉
I can't wait for its release in the states
Had a Neotec 1 and went to get a 3. Passed on it however since the fit just wasn't as comfortable as I expected it to be.

Waiting for the graphics here State side.....🙋♂️👍👍
Is the visor removal easier than the Neotec 2? The 1 was easy, but the 2 is a pain to swap.
Hi There, We will so a comparison video when we can on the visors as we have had a few questions on this. Watch this space!
if it's like the x spr pro and nxr2 than you're at ease

When is it available in USA?? Cool video!
Hi does J&S have SHOEI P.F.S. / Personal Fitting System

How does it compare to the Schuberth C5?

I’m touring Europe and need a really quiet helmet. Any pointers please?

@@jandsaccessories30 ok great, thanks. I’ll check out your website 👍

they also say in specific that Matt is a more sensitive matter when it comes to cleaning

Will this helmet work with a Cardo mount?
Yes the Cardo mounting system will still work with this helmet

How was the Sena coms/wind noise? Struggling to find something loud enough
I just bought a Neotec 2 and I'm working through setting it up. Curious why you say the visor is rubbish. What do you not like about it?
@@RamblinManMoto I’ve read others say it doesn’t stay in raised position even at low speeds. A rubber O ring has helped on either side apparently

Not the perfect Model 4 the Helmet 😂
Who in their right mind thinks a locking visor is a good idea? They have obviously never had to open one in a panic.
track use.
Absolute crap don’t touch it I wish I’d never got it
